Lonzo Ball

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think Ball's only gaffes today were the Whitlock thing (fat joke was kinda lame but whatever) and the line about BBB not being a woman's brand

Leahy definitely got what was coming to her.

Actually he said something about Kyrie today and brought Kyrie's mother into the discussion. I thought that was extremely out of line. Like I wouldn't bat an eye if Kyrie just slaps the shit outta LaVar if they ever meet. I think LaVar was feeling cornered by all of the people making comments telling him how to parent and he responded very emotionally and he should've slowed down before making those comments. He also said Kyrie doesn't have any kids which isn't true because Kyrie has a daughter.

I do not have any issue with his exchange with Leahy though. That's a whole different discussion that goes very deep.

Never seen a black guy edit his post so much and for what?? added Pepperoni before PiZza.. like how does it change anything in your post?

It's a Muslim joke.. :chuckle:

If you were really a Palestinian, you'd get it...

you work way too hard,

I know.. I tell my wife the same thing all the time. I'm so glad someone finally appreciates the work I do.

do what you i know you want to do and just blaze it.

This is why one should edit posts, btw.. :chuckle:

Start writing shitty posts like me and live life man. Stop trying to be someone you are not.

You're right, I should fully invest myself in shitty posting... :chuckle:

You are now officially my role model.

I'm literally rolling from the bolded. Totally rolling.

I don't get what she said was wrong. She said she was quoting him in that he made his kids play basketball at the age of 6 and it appears that he has indeed sucked the life out of Lonzo during interviews.

I would buy that if Lonzo had no other hobbies or interests besides ball that he practiced. And if it were possible that maybe being mostly stoic is part of his temperament in general. I mean Lonzo hardly expresses emotion on the court either.

Also, she was insinuating abuse in the household. You would just let something like that slide?

Dude reminds me of Earl Woods, but much more animated. I hated Earl Woods with a passion. My dad idolized him and in many ways modeled his behavior after him. I realized one day, as a teenager paying like ass in a tournament, that it wasn't worth the frustration, so I tossed several clubs into a pond and walked off. I haven't been worth a shit competitively ever since(golf wise).
I fear that is what will happen to the poor kid. I hate to see that with any child.
Point is, even Tiger had his limits on what he could take. Shit, he came close to a full Brittney Spear meltdown. Lonzo Ball is not Tiger. He will most likely crumble.

When I walked into this thread, this was me....

:):):):)

Now, when I walk out of this thread and see what has transpired (so confused) here's me....
:alc: :runaway:

Quick better pull out the "you don't respect women" card before it's too late

That'll get me out of this jam

Actually agree with Lavar on this one. She was out of place with her comments and wanted to instigate from the very start.

Yea, I mean... she's being really transparent here and even accused him of sexism out of the gate. Like, she had that one ready to fly, instantly.

What exactly did he say about Irving?

Would you not consider this sexist?

LaVar went on to discuss how he met his wife, Tina, and that he was attracted to her because she would give him tall boys. LaVar also was sure he would have boys and not girls. “I don’t put out no girls. … Me being alpha dog in our family, I’m gonna have boys,” he said, via Shelburne. “Gimme three boys.”

What exactly did he say about Irving?

“Kyrie, he’s in a different situation. So you can’t put yourself in the same situation as Lonzo,” Ball said. “I have a wife and two other sons. You not in that situation, his was different. Now, he couldn’t wait to break away from his dad. Why? Because you guys was needy back then. My boy’s not needy, he does whatever he wants. Just like I do whatever I want.

“So you can’t put yourself in that situation and say, ‘Oh, from my experience.’ Maybe he didn’t have the relationship that me and ‘Zo got. I don’t think he did. First of all, your mom wasn’t there. Something’s got to change right there, it’s not the same.

“Lonzo can come home and see his mom and dad all the time. Most people, with his talent, usually has a single parent. Not two of them together and be involved.”

Not sure what I would call that... stupid? sexist? Hard to say.. so .. so many options.. :chuckle: But yes, you could definitely consider such comments sexist.

This guy is the human equivalent of a Donald Trump presidency. Both will be short lived, filled with scandal, and possible jail time.
