With marijuana about to finally be legal in Ohio (fingers crossed) I was looking for something that will help with the chronic pain I have been dealing with the last couple years. I have smoked pot but much rather find good edibles or suggestions to what might help. I know I can prob get a medical card, I havent gone that route yet.

Hemp products have been legal in California for a long time. I don't know what kind of pain you have been coping with, but it's worth a shot.

My wife has never been a marijuana fan, going back to her teen years. She uses edible CBD a few times a week. There's a general calm feeling, but it's definitely pain management. It doesn't get you "high" - it's pure pain management. Considering the damage daily use of ibuprofen can cause to internal organs, it's a great option for her.

Ohio would have been wise to move forward with CBD products a long time ago, but each state gets to make their own call on that.

I'm not optimistic issue 2 (?) will pass, but if it does, don't hold your breath on quick access.
DeWine et al will footdrag for as long as they can.

Weed has been legal here in AZ for some time. I am not a fan of edibles personally, but i know many use it for pain management. Personally i just smoke "flower" out of a bong or glass pipe and get high as fuck. It might or might not be managing my pain, but I am high enough to not care.

My wife has chronic pain. It took years for me to get her to try medical marijuana at all over the Vicodin that wasn't really working and how now become about impossible to get prescriptions for.

Medical marijuana in Ohio has been a big help for her. She got the medical card and doesn't want to smoke. Price is the biggest factor.

We recently found Cheech And Chong's Cruise Chews, which are somehow already legal in the US because the CBD to TCH ratio is so high. And are way cheaper than buying gummies at a dispensary.

Nothing is perfect for her, but she got her best night of sleep in long time when we got these.

I watched their movies back in the day, I never thought I'd some day be buying products from them.

The Chong stuff, great tasting gummy. One of the better tasting mango flavor ones I’ve ever tried.

You can get a medical prescription in Ohio super easily if you know the right Dr.

Try out Dr. Williams here (there are actually 2 of them... son and mom!):

I have chronic pain and PTSD from my child's cancer and these guys were amazing. They'll do virtual visits as well. They legit spend more time with me at my yearly check-in than my general practitioner does and follow-up visits/questions are free! They will recommend CBD/CBN/THC, based on your needs. For me, I've been loving the Petra 2.5mg THC mini-dose mints and the Petra CBN mini-dose mints for nighttime use and help with sleep. I love the mini-doses because I can take a few, see how I feel, then take a few more after an hour or 2 if it isn't helping enough.

Live resin 1:1 vapes of THC/CBD have also been super helpful and without the harmfulness and second hand smoke from traditional bud/flower.

Good Luck!

EDIT: Here are the microdose mints I was referring to - Moroccan Mint and Blackberry CBN (for bedtime) are my jams: https://www.kivaconfections.com/brand/petra

Prices are coming down in Ohio, and if Issue 2 passes, they'll fall further. My wife was never a toker due to her job, but in retirement has found the value of high cbd gummies for relief from arthritis pain. Definitely worth trying whether the ballot issue passes or not.

Chronic pain can be a real challenge, and it's understandable that you're looking for alternatives like marijuana edibles. Considering that marijuana is on its way to becoming legal in Ohio, that's a hopeful prospect. You mentioned the possibility of getting a medical card, and I think that's a smart route to explore. It could open up access to medical cannabis products that are specifically tailored for pain relief. It's not just about the edibles; there are various forms and strains available, so you can find what suits you best. And hey, I'd recommend checking out the info about medical cannabis. It can provide you with all the details you need to make an informed decision.

I thought the PTSD was from that first time you saw the Olga gif and each time you send it out you’re just downplaying it’s original effects??!!!
