I think right now Martell Webster from portland and Nick Collison from OKC are our best options. Webster is a great option considering theres not alot of room in portland for him and also somehow hurts portlands cap space or next season. He is a very good shooter and is still relatively young. He is athletic and with mike brown could be turned into a nice defender. Nick Collison is a surprise to some of you but i believe OKC is in cost cutting mode. Wilcox is an expiring so they may just ride his contract out and Collison has like 3 years left on his. Collison is just an all round solid PF that would really help us a lot.

Seeing how both teams are in cost cutting mode doing a Webster for Pavs deal(pavs has a team option for next season) and then a Snow for Collison deal would work out nice. We might as well deal Snow seeing how he is retired and make the most out of his contract. The best part about all of this is we would still have wallys contract to use for even more talent or to save for our own cost cutting purposes.

I dont see Martel Webster being available. He is on the last year of his contract, but is a restricted free agent. He is young talented, and playes for a young talented team. Even if outlaw is their future starter, having both webster and fernedez in the rotation is important for portland. They have alot of contracts getting ready to re-up, but they have lefrantz and francis expiring this year and darious miles is off the book next. Thats $40 million comming off, just in time to pay webster (this offseason) Frye (this offseason) Roy (next) Outlaw (next) and Allredge (next).

They have a nice nuceleous. Roy, Alredge, Outlaw, Webster, Oden, Frye, Fernendez etc....

Only way they trade him is if they think Batum is up and coming, but I think he will be a bust.

Collison is not the worst idea out there, but he is signed for three years, averages 9 and 9, and is only paid 6.5 milion a season....not sure they give him up for anyone less than AV, and I would rather resign AV.

Not that i dont like either player, just dont see us having the assets to obtain either.
