I guess I'm just growing weary of the age of fans being able to bitch about a finished product and having the developer change it to appease them if they throw a big enough temper tantrum. It's already happened with the Call of Duty series (which admittedly has gone to shit anyway, but still).
I don't think the endings suck at all. In fact, from what I noticed personally the people who were most upset about it were people who came late into the series (not saying you did, of course). And who's to say that the indoctrination theory isn't true? Bioware even said they wanted the endings as they were to be open-ended and promote discussion. I still think indoctrination is probably the most plausible or sensible thing, whether or not they intended it that way. If not that, then what could it be? I'm interested to hear your opinion, as you absolutely hated the endings.
