They are about two, three years away from being on top of the Big ten, that's if everybody stays.
they will have a nice freshman class, but they still wont beat MSU until that freshman group matures.
But Matta has done an unreal job at turning this program around. Amazing how fast too...Matta will be the first coach gone when a big job opens up.

i dont care who they play a win is a win and y wont u people be happy for them... first off buckeye basketball???? its all about football there and now they have a good basketball team.. this school is the best ever if u ask me and i am enjoying this season...

I was referring to hughes1988 concern about posters not being happy for them. Saying that the Buckeyes are 2 or 3 years away and that the coach is going to bail the second he gets an opportunity could easily be viewed as comments made by someone who's not being happy for the current team and their success. I was simply explaining to him that he should not expect you to be happy for them. Fucking idiot.
And while your hatred for Ohio State may lean towards the football program, you've made it clear in other threads that you don't like Buckeye fans and enjoy seeing them suffer. Just to spell it out for your simple mind, that makes you a hater: of Ohio State football, but also Ohio state fans, many of whom just so happen to root for Ohio State basketball, which is the topic at hand. And Ohio State is not a big time program. Bottom line, it is a compliment to say that if the Kansas's, Arizona's etc..etc.. if they had a coaching job open, Matta would be on the first plane there. That is not a bash, fucking idiot.
And they are two years away...yeah, it's nice to get that freshman recruiting class, but MSU is still one of the best teams in the nation with some of the best classes every year. North Carolina has some of the best classes every year too and look at their team, they are struggling. It takes time.What Michigan did will never be repeated...there is just too much talent in the NCAA.
