Buckeyes Add Ninth Commitment With Schwartz: http://ohiostate.scout.com/2/458944.html

To me it always raises an eye brow when OSU offers a 2 star kid, but they did have him in camp, so they obviously liked what they saw. I trust the coaches more than I trust the recruiting experts.

I love the story at the end about the 2002 Michigan game. :)

good read.

maybe this will kid will be like fox, more of a smarter palyer but not that gifted athleticly. im not saying hes not athletic, just not superbly athletic.

B/c he's white?

Btw, Fox was actually the fastest kid on the team till Ginn 2 came along.

I actually thought of Bella-sorry when I read about this kid. If they'd of played him at safety instead of qb, i think ole Steve would of been a good player. He did gets looks as a db in the nfl without even playing it in college, so he must of had some skills. Anyway, Bella-sorry was recruited as a qb and Schwartz as a safety, so hopefully this won't be history repeating itself.

He had some good suitors in VA Tech who is ranked 3rd I beleive, and Oregon who is always hovering around the top 25. Sounds like a good deal  I liked what I saw out of that Mankins freshmen corner today though, didn't make too many mistakes.

why do you bring race into the equation? dustin fox was not the fastest guy in the world, show me his 40 time and then i will believe you. their is no way that fox ran a 40 time in the 4.3's because if he did he would be playing in the pros.

He did run one in the 4.3s (he was the fastest kid at osu for like 3 years straight) and he was a first day draft pick b/c of it:

The reason you don't see him playing is b/c he's on the IR for the year. Know your shit before you come at me.

The reason I bring race in is b/c I can't see any other possible reason why you would say this guy isn't athletic when all through the article it talks about how fast he is.

Btw, WHERE ARE YOUR RAINBOW LEGGINGS????

oh no, here comes dont bring the shit at me if you dont know your shit tuff guy mentality.

i dont remember fox being that fast. i dont think he was the fastest kid on the team. he didnt look that fast on the field.

Dude, he was a third round draft pick and you said he wasn't in the nfl. You've got to admit you were pretty far off on that one.

I agree that on the field Fox didn't look as fast as kids like Gamble, but he had the team's best time in the 40 for 2 or 3 years. They keep all the team's training records on a board in the WHAC.

At any rate, he was at the game saturday: http://ohiostate.scout.com/2/459869.html

yeah you got me on that one. i thought he graduated a couple of years ago. its seems as if last years team was so hard to watch that i forgot about it. :chuckles: and i did make the comparison to fox because he is whtie. it seemed to me they both fit the same mold.

If they can finish strong like they did last year, this could still be quite a good year. If we win out, that means we're 1) Big Ten Champs, 2) beat michigan yet again, 3) won our bowl game yet again, 4) are in the top 10. If we win out, and get some help, then we are out right big ten champs and will of won a BCS bowl game 3 out of 4 years. That would be a quite a four year stretch for our seniors.

What kind of help do we need to make the BCS? Well, we're tied for the big ten lead with PSU and UW, and they just so happen to play each other (this weekend, actually). So all we need is the loser of that game to drop an additional game. Really, that's not so much to ask, especially this year when the big ten teams are so evenly matched. I'm more worried about OSU winning out!

The remaining schedules for PSU: UW, @MSU. For UW: @PSU, Iowa, @ Hawaii. PSU could lose @ MSU and UW could lose to Iowa. My fingers are officially crossed!
