Might be the most rigged game I've ever seen.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No one will remember this because the only thing they will remember is how in 2018, the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the most stacked team ever, Golden State Warriors in what was supposed to be one of the most one sided finals ever!

I like your attitude. Cavs truly have an unprecedented opportunity here. Cleveland might be the first team in the history of the NBA to win a series 5-0! (since they technically won the first game)

Watching the IndyCar race. (on ABC)

One the announcers heavily implied he knew the Cavs got screwed when reading a promo.

"It'll be interesting to see how the Cavs and LeBron handle the "events" that happened to them last game"

The way he said it very much seem to indicate he knew what happened.

Unless you're on the NBA on ESPN payroll or something of that note? You KNOW they got screwed. The whole sports world does.

But since NBA media is pravda (looking at you Broussard in how you handled being asked if LeBron was MVP), we don't get this opinions as much.

Down here in SD people were only talking about Jr Smith and not the refs.

Good job getting out in front of it espn

Linda Cohn, one of ESPN’s most prominent female anchors, in April 2017 gave a radio interview opining that ESPN’s politics were pushing away viewers and the network had overpaid for NBA rights. Mr. Skipper called to berate her on both counts, people familiar with the call said.

...
At the same time, ESPN was spending aggressively. The company agreed to triple the fees it would pay the NBA, which it believes is growing in popularity. On the talent side, Mr. Skipper closely managed negotiations, desiring to beat back rivals like Fox Sports 1 and NBC Sports. Agents, former ESPN executives and hosts said that led him to overpay for several on-air personalities.

gotta protect the investment.

They TRIPLED the amount for a product. They gotta cheerlead it into relevance or else they will continue to lose money on their current approach.

...

I've said it once and I've said it again. The NBA moving to ESPN was a bad move for all parties and ruined both in a lot of ways.

I have to admit that although the joke was unfunny when Yanks bandwagoners paraphrased it this past year i.e. "first team to win 4 in a best-of-5" it's funny as hell now.

Warriors fans chanting MVP for JR, but anyone who isn't a Warriors fan knows who the real MVPs were for GS in Game 1.

To be honest, if the game was going to be rigged, it would have been rigged in the Cavaliers' favor. If they NBA wants this to go 6 or 7 games, they need a few breaks to go our way.

Nope, instead we got screwed by the incompetence of the officials.

The mafia doesn't give a shit about how many games the series goes.

ZERO contact on the Kevin Love "foul" on Curry.

Of course nobody wants to say it either on the mic.

Steph actually was delibrately trying to fall backwards to flop.

WTFWTS when they kept showing the shot clock 3 after he bungled one of the plays right after.

Time to suit of Kendrick and let him deck Curry once. He needs put on his ass or he's going to continue shooting lights out.

Title change proposals: "Might be the two most rigged games I've ever seen", which is followed by "The most rigged series ever". I'm flying up to meet my father in NE Ohio for game 4, my brother and my nephew are flying in from California to meet us. I'm not ready for another funeral in my old neighborhood.
