Mike Dunleavy Duck Hunt

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dunleavy doesn't even have a verified account on twitter. Lol poor bastard.
Which is why I was wondering if it was a fake at first...

...but then I thought, who the hell would want to impersonate Mike Dunleavy? :chuckle:

If the only thing we surrendered was an exception. This is a steal. If we gave up picks or something.. not so much.

But RJ's sudden re-signing tells me the FO was likely trying to work a way to get Wade here.

This guy torched us in the playoffs last year. Chicago was a LeBron miracle shot from the corner (or a call on Blatt's time out he did not have) from going up 3-1 last year, remember? I was pretty pissed with Dunleavy dropping threes in those games, probably how opponents felt when JR dropped threes. He's a tall, stretch guy and I know the Cavs and LeBron wanted him last summer. He's also 35, not 36, as someone reported above. (a year older than Wade, a year younger than RJ). I like the signing and helping screw Miami and Riley.

He's a guy you hate playing against. Pesky, sticky dirty defender, long arms, drains the 3 ball. He can probably replace a lot of what Delly gave us.

I agree his health can be an issue but he'll be pretty low usage with us so hopefully we can keep him healthy for the playoffs. And the guy rakes come playoff time.

I am more than digging this pickup. Watch him be what Miller COULD have been for this team. I like this move a lot. How does the TPE work? They absorb his salary but its still less than the TPE, can the team still use the rest of the TPE to help with any other moves?

I like this move a lot. Obviously he's not perfect, but these are the kind of players you get when you have very limited resources. Maybe he'll turn into a pumpkin, but he could be a nice, serviceable player.

Really good pick up.... Solid player that'll fit well.

Whats this mean for our financial position. I.e lux tax, repeaters tax??

If Delly would have cost what MD costs we would have easily kept him.

A bench including Frye, RJ, and Dunleavy is going to rain threes.

And require preperation H and gerital in the first aide kit.
