Reighi has mentioned him a few times on his show today as a possible move Cleveland can make today. If we get him, does it increase the chance for Lebron staying? I would like to think so, he also said look at us possibly looking at Darren Collison, and possibly Al Jefferson and teams we could make a deal for picks include New Orleans, Memphis, Minnesota, and Sacramento. Udrih/5 pick for Mo wont happen according to Reighi.

I'd strongly urge them to go hard at Al Jefferson. Darren Collison would be a bonus as well. I'd do everything possible to stay away from Monta Ellis though.

Right now I'll be happy if the Cavs get lucky enough to get a 2nd round pick for tomorrow night.

Monta Ellis in my mind is actually a little underrated because of the "knucklehead" element. Sort of like Zach Randolph. People get so caught up in their character, they completely overlook what these guys on do on the court.

The guy averaged 26 on 45% shooting. He's only 24. Not a bad player at all.

With all that said, I don't want him on the Cavs. Bad defensive player, way too turnover prone, requires too many shots.

I just badly want a guy who can get some easy baskets...and sure enough, Al Jefferson is on the block. He sucks defensively too, but he's a guy that can get points and command double-teams. LBJ's never had a teammate like that.

Reghi doesn't have any sources or know anything more than we do.

No shit, Udrih & 5 for Mo is not going to happen. Anyone with some common sense could tell you that.

Sounds like Jefferson may be heading to Memphis:

Trade rumor making the rounds: Minnesota trades Al Jefferson and the #16th pick for Zach Randolph and #12th. Money saver for Minnesota. about 1 hour ago via UberTwitter

The only way I'd want Ellis is if they attach Randolph with him or we get him for trash *Telfair, Wally S&T, maybe West*.

Other wise, no thanks.

Jefferson for Randolph talks appear dead. Memphis is unwilling to part with their picks as part of a deal. Minn thinks they can do better

My friend texted me saying he heard on the radio that the Al Jefferson for Z-Bo deal was done but:

@chadfordinsider Jefferson for Randolph talks appear dead. Memphis is unwilling to part with their picks as part of a deal. Minn thinks they can do better

If I am the Cavs I am trying my best to somehow get Jefferson and one of the lower 1st round picks from Minny. We'll see what happens should be a fun 24 hours (kind of reminds me of the trade deadline).

I'm probably in the minority, but I wanted Maggette on this team. He's one of those guys that attacks the basket fearlessly and I thought we needed an element like that around here.

Milwaukee got him for peanuts, we could have also.

I have mixed reactions towards Ellis. If he has the right attitude playing in Cleveland, and LeBron is still here, those two could be pretty dynamic.

I am sure we could get Ellis if we involved Delonte West in the trade. Big money savings for GSW.
