Been doing this on another forum where a lot of people read/ Do these. i will update this as far as i am.. All updates will be going up simultaneously. For some reason a lot of these things are posting in the same post, have no idea why. sorry if it is harder to read that way. The difference between posts is normally the pictures.
The Time is Now
The Lakers enter the 2008-2009 season as favorites to get out of the west again. They Have the best team they have had in years, and there superstar is in his prime. Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol lead the Lakers in the front court, with veterans Derek Fisher and Lamar Odom Contributing. The Lakers most likely have the best team they will have for a long time. The Time is Now.

Will do some articles later. couldn't find a face picture of sun yue, and didn't want to force him in there and make it unorganized. He's not going to play anyways.
Ernie:It is rumored and seems to be true that the Lakers have traded Vladimir Radmanovic, Derek Fisher Trevor Ariza, and a second round pick in the 2010 draft for Ben Wallace, Jawad Williams, and Tarrence Kinsey
Chuck: This is just a turrible, turrible trade for the Lakers. They gave up way to much for a rapidly declining role player, a young 6'9 guy with no potential, and a SG who has yet to prove himself. This is just turrible.
Kenny:I actually think this might benefit the Lakers this year. I personally think Derek fisher is an over rated system PG, while vladimir radmanovic is a horrible Defensive player who can only shoot the wide open 3. The Lakers get a great defensive player to back up Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol in Ben Wallace, He can also mentor Bynum on how to play defense effectively.
Chuck: KENNY! IS YOU CRAZY MAN! THIS TRADE DOES NOT HELP THE LAKERS WHAT SO EVER!
Ernie: Calm Down Chuck.
Chuck: WHY IS EVERYONE ALWAYS INTERRUPTIN ME WHEN I AM TRYIN TO SAY SOMETHIN IMPORTANT.
Kenny: Last time i've seen you this mad is when I stole your Crispy Kreme Donut.
Chuck: THIS IS NOT FUNNAY. This trade could ruin the chemistry on the Lakers as they sign a player who was a Cancer with the Bulls when he didn't get as much playing time as he wanted, and theres no way he is getting over 25 minutes on this stacked Lakers team.
Kenny: C'mon Chuck, you know as well as i do he wasn't a cancer. Losing teams and the media in those cities always have to find someone to blame for there failures. Ben Was just the one who had to fall on the sword because he was vastly overpaid and on the decline.
Ernie: Alright enough with you two, lets compare these players.

Ernie:We have a great little surprise for our viewers, Kobe is here to talk to us about this blockbuster trade.
Kenny: Hey Kobe
Chuck: Hows it goin Kobe
Kobe: Good to see you guys
Chuck: Now Kobe, are you as mad about this trade as i am?
Kobe:Not really, This trade really improves our need----
Chuck: KOBAY, you must be joking me. Now i know you are one of the best players of all time, but how can you be happy about this trade? It gets rid of one of the best veterans on the team, a young athletic defender, and a spot up 3 point shooter who can rack up the points.
Kobe: We have no lack of scoring, you know what i'm saying? We need more defense to get to where we want to be, and that is holding up a championship trophy. Nothing else will satisfy us, not a Western Conference Championship, not losing in the Finals in 7 games, nothing.
Kenny: I see your point Kobe, and i agree. Defense wins championships, and Chuck should know that, OH WAIT! AHAHAH!
Ernie:HEHEHHEHE
Chuck: Well unlike Kenny i was actually a pretty good player.
Kenny: *holds out championship ring* Bet you wish you had this bling huh Chuck. Don't be jealous
Chuck: Man... Kenny you are one ugly bald headed man--
Ernie: Enough enough, lets get back on subject. Kobe, say in a couple of sentences how you feel about this trade.
Kobe: I really think this helps our chance at winning a championship. I appreciate what all the guys who used to be here did for us, but we needed more. I look forward to Big Ben helping us on the defensive side, and Tarrence Kinsey helping also. We needed this, and i couldn't be more happy.
Ernie: Alright thanks Kobe. Be sure to tune in next time on Inside The NBA with Charles, Ernie, and Kenny
Kobe's 34 not enough as Lakers fall 102-103

The I'm Lovin it Stat of the game
Bench Points
Portland-31
Los Angeles-9
If the blockbuster trade helped LA, it sure didn't show this game. The Lakers had to overcome a 11 point deficit within the last 4 minutes to even get into the position to possibly win the game. Even so, Kobe got double teamed and had to force up a shot with 2 seconds left that got blocked, Greg Oden coralled the rebound and the Lakers didn't have enough time to foul.
The Lakers held there own in every statistical category besides second chance points and bench points. The Blazers scored 16 second chance points while LA only had 4, and they Lakers got totally demolished by the other teams bench. 4 players in double figures helped LA, but only 7 players managed to score over 2 points, which is unacceptable. This was also a game of 3 point prowess, the teams combined for 22 of 51 from the 3 point stripe.
Brandon Roy led the Blazers with 24 points on 9-21 shooting. He didn't heat up until the 4th where he had 11 of his 24 points. Greg Oden totally dominated the Lakers on the board, scoring second chance points and tipping balls out to his team mates.
THe Lakers will play the Clippers in a back to back tomorrow. They must be prepared, luckily none of the Lakers are getting forced to play too much minutes.
This was just my generic game review. if you have any suggestions tell me. Kinda hurried this up cus the Basketball game starts in 5 minutes.
Stuart Scott: My sources tell me that the Lakers have just signed 24 year old free agent Dee Brown as Phil Jackson is not satisfied with Jordan Farmar's Progression and wants to bring in some competition. A lot of people approve of this signing, and some don't, lets ask our own Greg Anthony of his opinion.
Greg Anthony:Stu, I understand the want to put pressure on your current PG if he is not performing, I really do, but there was no reason at all to sign this guy. He is 24 and he has shown no progress in his short NBA career. Plus, he has almost no experience
Stuart Scott: Cmon Greg, are you telling me that a guy like Dee Brown who was straight ballin in college and led the Illinois fighting Illini can't make it in this league, he averaged 14.2 points, and 5.8 assists in college, those are some big stats from a guy playing in the toughest division in College Basketball while also playing against top competition in said division.
Greg Anthony: I understand he was a great player in college, but college success does not equal success in the NBA. Especially for a small guy like Dee Brown who is probably shorter than he is listed at 6', and only 180 pounds. Players in the NBA can push him around like a rag doll, I just don't think he is worth it. He also has an average at best mid range game which is the downfall for so much athletes looking to make it into the NBA. Also, Jordan Farmar could respond to this pressure negatively, you never know
Stuart Scott:If a player responds negatively to pressure are you sure you want him on your team? The fact is that this guy has shown he can straight up ball when playing against great players and under great pressure. It would be a risk not to try to sign a guy like this.
Greg Anthony:Fair enough Stu, lets let his Scouting report do the talking.
Strengths: Perimeter Defense, Ball Handling, Athleticism
Weaknesses:Inside scoring, Post Defense, Rebounding, Potential.
