Myles Garrett : NFL 2023 DPOY

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think Myles’ DPOY campaign has taken a massive hit. Not necessarily saying he was bad yesterday or last week, but counting stats matter for this award, and he didn’t record any in the last two games.

Oh well. As long as he makes enough plays in these last 5 games to help us make the playoffs, that is what is most important.

Parsons jumped Myles for the favorite but Myles is still #2

Tbh he’s just a few 2 sack games away from taking it

Giant swing here this week as Myles wasn’t even the favorite last week and now is a pretty heavy favourite

Hope it pans out how betters think it will
Myles deserves it. Too many people are trying to turn DPOY into a "who has the most sacks" award. It hasn't been that - Aaron Donald has won DPOY twice where he wasn't the sack leader (2017 he had 11 sacks, Chandler Jones had 17, and 2020 he had 13.5 sacks, Watt had 15).

Myles is being double teamed at 33% of the time, TJ only 15% of the time. That's nuts. And TJ has 100+ more total snaps. Teams are much more afraid of Myles than TJ.

Named First-Team All-Pro for the third time in his NFL career (2020, 2021). Only Browns player to get on the 1st or 2nd team this year.
