I just faced one of the biggest douches online ever. One of those let me draw an offensive foul every second kinda people. And I beat him. The stupid shit is that he disconnected after I won the game and the final buzzer went off, its like your already getting the loss just finish the damn game asshole.

I would be 4-0 right now but my internet disconnected on one of the games and i got the loss.

I have the Cavs in association and I traded Boobie, Powe & Danny Green to OKC for Sefalosha & a first round pick. Boobies D was lacking and in the game Danny Greens arms are 3 shades darker than his face and body, I'm OCD and found it annoying. Then I signed Juan Dixon & DeVon Hardin to one-year contracts. Worked good, Sefalosha is a good player, we're in game 6 of the eastern conf. finals with Boston down 3-2 but I'm not worried.

i had the same issue, i went into opitions>presentation and i couldn't find the quarter length underneath 2k insider option, so i went into the memory setting and deleted all the stuff under 2k10 apart from my saved games, then rebooted, the patch re-installed and now it works fine.

Really have to plough loads points into shot in traffic now though if i dont want to miss many layups.

+1 if defensive rotations,, pick'n'roll defense, paint contacts, my player mode minutes, frame rate etc are not fixed, delete everything related to 2k10 and clear console's cache. Game plays excellent post patch.

I'm doing the my player shit, pretty tight. 6'9" face up PF Imadoggy Dogg. I chose the Cavs cuz they're a good team and have no PF (Powe is starting right now...). Overall is 42 right now, I suck ass. Anyways, I finished up training camp with them and I made the team!!! No D-league for me!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOO.

So I come in the game with 1:39 left in the 2nd... at SF. DAMMIT MB! My dude sucks and is slow and has no skills. First play when I'm in, Demar DeRozan drives past me for a cradle dunk. A minute later, he does it again. Argh. Next time I come back in I'm at C against Bosh who can't do isht to me. Then at PF I played good D. Ended up with 3/1/1 on 100% shooting and 50%FT haha, in like 4-5min. Not a bad debut for my shit dude.


That is my story for now. Cavs lost. Lebron sucked, 8pts on 3/11 shooting. We're 0-2. I will lead us to a title in 6 years.

The substitutions are really quite strange in this game. They sub you out only to put you in at the next dead ball, and they put you in at weird positions that you aren't accustomed to.


Oh, and if you are anywhere NEAR a triple double, the game will sub you out and sit you the rest of the game to make sure you don't get it.


I made a 7'5, 285 lb. center... I've been having a lot of fun playing with him. Averaging something like 31 points and 13 boards... and I'm only playing seven minute quarters.

So true. I was at 68 points through 3 quarters and I was out for the rest of the game. I've also been one steal away from a triple double 6 times and two rebounds away from a quadruple double a few times. I finally got the rhythm of my jumper before I left Toronto and was averaging 40 points and 11 assists over 5 games.

Haha yea, I've been playing more often and the substitution patterns usually make NO sense. They'll take me out so I press Y to get back in... 10sec later. Or they'll sub me out with 4min in the 4th when we're up 2, I'll come back in with 2min when we're down 2... and the game subs out Lebron and everyone else for the Cavs bench. Wtf? That point in the game is not the time to clear the bench.


It's pretty fun though, just a lot of it makes 0 sense.



Ok just now I played the Rockets in this My Player shit. Fuck this game so bad, I hate it. I come off the bench and we're down 33-19. My dumbass 6'9" PF for some reason is playing center.... guarding 9'2" Yao Ming. I still hang around, then they take me out and I come back and we're down 18. I'm at SG now, guarding fucking 4'1" Kyle Lowry. But I help the team come within 12. They take me out and put me back in and we're down 25 now. I'm at C again. Then they take me out and put me back in at SF, and we're down 30. I didn't play my position of PF at all that game.

Just played Cavs vs Nets. We're up all game by 15-20. I have an A+ rating the whole 2nd half. In the 4th, they sub me in at the start and we're up 10. I'm still beastin. They sub me out with like 7min. Sub me back in with 1:04 left. We're fucking down 2 to the Nets now. Someone jacks up a dumbass shot. Nets are fouled and make one of two. Down 3, so I take a timeout.

Now. If this isn't rigged, I don't know what is. Read on.

Anthony Parker taking out the ball. Look, usually I take out the ball as the shitty 45 rating PF. But now, he's inbounding from the side. Usually, the PG (Mo in this case), runs to get the ball. Nope. He actually runs to the opposite side of the floor. I'm standing in front of AP's face calling for the ball. Wide open. Nope. 5 second violation. So we're down 3... with like 10sec left... and the fucking CPU controlled dumbass gets a 5sec violation.

So we foul. Brook Lopez makes 2-2. We start up again after timeout, they pass it to Shaq who gets fouled, makes both FTs. Nets inbounding, randomly throw it out of bounds. I now inbound with 4sec left. Give it to Parker at halfcourt. Who stands there, literally on the line, for 3sec. Then gives it to Mo who launches a 35ft 3 that misses.


I fucking hate you game.

My player is so screwed up for me I gave up on it. To bad, I was playing it a lot, I got up to a 78 rating. I just can't stand all the glitches in it, and I don't want to start over.

Edit: FUCKING 2k!!!!!!!! I cant start the next season of the association because theres a glitch that wont let you advance. Will be fixed in the patch...

Man fuck this shit, how do you make a game this fucked up. I wish I could go back in time and stop myself for paying 60 bucks for this bullshit. I cant even do anything with the game anymore now.

The first thing I see here is that you can't advance to the next season in Association Mode....then on the first page of the 2K forums I see a topic saying the My Player mode crashes after the season as well. There goes any interest I had in cracking the game open again...



I swear, next year I am NOT getting it on release day. Instead, I'm waiting to see how many major glitches there are and then deciding if it's actually worth the hassle. I honestly don't understand how a reputable company is unable to release a decent game that doesn't need 10294958 fixes.
