NBA 2k12: RCF League Season 8

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What we are trying to do here, is be as realistic as possible with trades and games as well. I cant see Rich Cho in his right mind accepting that trade.

In the future, can whoever veto's a trade please come in here and outline why you vetoed.

It's kind of cowardly that someone keeps doing that without standing up and saying what they disagree with.

Cowardly is the nice way to put it. It reeks of bitchassness to me.

But then again, knowing 2k it was probably the same glitchiness that booted the Hawks guy

At this point we may as well quit trying to trade period...

All it's doing is wasting our time talking about it, people are voting against them in the dark for no reason. They take like 3 months to go through, it's ridiculous.

Did I ever get Perkins?

Yes, I would accept that trade if I was the Bobcats. The Bobcats could very well make the playoffs this year (In our league atleast) since we all are going to have struggles in the first season against the CPU, and chances are most of us, if not all of us are going to be in the lottery. Meaning the Bobcats will be in the lower-part of the lottery to a lower seed in the playoffs (they are currently 5-1). I'm also giving them three guys that could very well start for them. And if they aren't starting then they are, at the very least, the 7th man. The Bobcats current cap room is $518K after the trade it would be -2.18 M. After the season is over they will have 14 M in cap space (if all their 1 YR contracts go.)

The way I see it is that they are getting three starters and a lotto pick in next years draft. I'm getting back expiring contracts, the players I'm getting won't see the floor for my team, and a mid-teen pick in this years draft.

Damn... thats a pretty strong case for the trade.

Bobcats ARE 5-1 and have beaten Boston and Orlando.

To poke holes in your logic, only Aaron Afflalo would start for them. The other two would be depth, though it would be good depth if they were really a playoff team.

In that case I vote yes for the trade if you want to resend. I dont know who vetoed it, adn they havent made a case for why they did still.

I agree, veto a trade and then not post on here why? Weak

I thought I was going to be able to steal one from Orlando. Going 13-30 from downtown... now I know why they are called the Magic.

I'm going to explain this other trade I have with the Celtics. (I get Bass, O'Neal, Daniels, and 1st, they get Nene, Carroll, and Fernandez, and a 2nd)

If I'm the Celtics I do this for Nene. He's a complete upgrade(over O'Neal) at the center position and really helps the Celtics in the offensive post. Fernandez is a slight upgrade at the SG position over Daniels and he's younger. Carroll is just there to make the trade go through. The 1st is for this year and will be a later pick and that's almost a swap with the 2nd round pick, but going down a few slots (and the second is for '13.) The Celtics have someone very close in rating to Bass, so losing him won't be that big of a deal. Yes they get fucked in Cap Space, but with Nene they could make two, at the very least, more championship runs with this team and that seems to be worth it.

I do this to simple stock pile another pick in the 2012 draft and to get Bass.

I'm kind of bored so that's why I did this and because I don't want the trade to get vetoed, have to explain my view of the trade, and have to wait six more years for the trade to go through.

Edit: I also just sent a trade with the Cavs.

Harangody and Samuels for Harrington and Brewer.

The Cavs currently sit at 6-1. Harrington and Brewer might not give them the greatest cap flexiblity, but Harrington can be used for depth purposes and back up the center spot and the PF spot. Same can be said about Brewer. Once Jamison contract is up the Cavs will have 15M + in cap space, so I'm not really fucking them over. I do it for the cap space.

Any update on getting me & my Hawks reinstated in the league?

Why didnt you just pick up Charlotte or Toronto if you were going to trade away your team for draft picks?

Seriously, why pick up one of the highest rated available teams just to go into rebuild mode?

Well when I first picked them they were rated a lot higher then what they are rated now (after the updates.) I was planning on trying to make a run for the playoffs this year, but waiting on the updated rosters Affalo was given a contract extension (was also not aware of this at the time of picking team). The extenison gave me less room to work with in cap fexiblity for trades. Rebuilding wasn't my first opition (example: I wanted to trade for Gasol. Wanted to trade for Rip and Deng.)

If I could do it over I would pick a different team..
