We didn't get murdered in rankings like I had assumed. I can't believ that they added Bird Rights to the game (it's only been like 8 years or something like that). I'm glad that they finally ranked LeBron the deserved 99 to bad there isn't a 100 ranking, but if any player can do it it is certainly him.

i'm excited to see lebron jumper! i can't believe boobie 3pt rating is 95 & mid-range is 85.....ben went down to a 78(fair though)....Z went to a 82(fair but should be like a 85)...

I'm excited to play the game, but I'm not gonna go out and spend 70bucks on it they can forget that. I'm gonna wait a month or so and buy it when the price is lowered.

Agree with most of the Cavs ratings. Boobie and Andy could be a little higher (Hickson 3 points better than Andy???), but other than that it's fine.
I wonder what Delonte's rating is...



Bogus rathings (IMO):
About all of the Celtics except KG and Pierce.
Most of the rookies seem too high...
Mike Bibby (too high)
Sasha Vujacic (too high)
Jason Kidd (too high)
Rasheed Wallace (too low)
Chauncey Billups (too high)
Rashard McCants (too low)
Stephen Jackson (too high)

Overall they did a good job with the ratings, but like I said, many of the rookies are way too high.


As for the grapics. For the first time, LeBron finally looks something like himself!!!!

CP3 is so not a 99 to me, he is more like a 96. KG I can see as a 98 and Kobe/LBJ I agree at 99. They deserve their ratings, Paul has to prove himself LBJ wasn't even ranked a 99 until this year and he has been the best or second best player in the league almost his entire career.

can someone remind me what the bird rights are about??? i forgot but i think it has something to do when a team signs a player & then something to do with the offer sheet(i know andy was/is involve in that?)

82 is too high for DW he is more like a 78-80.

I believe that the Bird rights allow you to exceed the salary cap to re-sign one of your own free agents.

I agree with johnny. I don't think any player should be rated 99. Especially not KG and Chris Paul.

This seems more realistic to me:

LeBron - 97
Kobe - 96
Chris Paul - 94/95
KG - 92

I think they should lower all the players. Generally, the ratings are way too high.

Hmm, Kobe is rated a 101. This seems to be a nice case for the X-files.

These ratings are better than the point guard ratings though. But I think Allen Iverson is placed too high.

wow if this is true,this would be amazing b/c in 2k8 assossiation i was tight when i couldn't re-sign our 08 FA(boobie & west most importantly)

What was Mo last year?....Im thinkin an 85 but im not positive.
