NCAA FB 10 Dynasty (360) Rules & Game Thread

Well guys, here we are, the game is out tomorrow and I figured I should make a new thread, 1.) For rules and 2.) so we can come here and chat about the league and also set up game times.. here are our basic rules.

Rules:
1.) No exploits - Examples: Running the same play over and over. Always going for it on 4th down. Only passing to your running back. Quarterback exploits to buy time in the pocket.
2.) Realistic stats - Scores of 130-45 don't fly. Receivers with a 300 yard per game average. Quarterbacks throwing for 8 tds a game. (Let's play this league Sim style, it'll be more fun that way, if I see anyone playing ridiculously like this, and we get 2 complaints, you're out of the league)
3.) Mature play - No purposeful disconnects, finish the season, show respect - down the ball when appropriate.
4.) Stay active - Play your games. We will advance once every 3-4 days or just when everyone is ready. After each advance I will give 3 days until I advance again. This gives you plenty of time to play 1 game and also do 1 recruiting session. For Human Vs Human games, if you can't get it in, in time, just talk to me and we can figure something out.


Failure to follow these basic sim style rules will result in dismissal. We are at 10 for the dynasty right now but 12 would be great, and I have a couple guys who might be able to fill in so we will see. For this first season we won't have custom schedules but after that we can talk about non conference opponents. As soon as the league is created, we will have a 1 or 2 days to finish pre-season and we can hopefully get done with that asap.. ALSO** For when the offseason comes, i would love to set a time where the majority of people could all get together and we could knock that out of the way, but the offseason could be done over the course of a week.
5 minute quarters (We can discuss this)
All-American Level (but maybe sliders to make it a little bit tougher)
Rosters (I'll find some named rosters that we can use most likely)

Jimbo, I'm planning on getting the game tonight also. Send me a request and we can play a practice game if you want. Maybe we could use our dynasty teams if you want.

Yeah man sounds good, I'd like to get in a practice game against a human that way I can get a feel for my Redhawks

haha yeah i didn't sell mine but i know quite a few people who did.. are you cool with everything casualties? I'll be meeting your Bobcats on October 17th btw.. so be ready .. when are you gettin the game?

I have a tough non-conference schedule including 2 teams who have been BCS busters in the past few seasons, Boise St. and Cinci... I also have an up and coming Northwestern team and a squad in Kentucky that is usually pretty tough.

My room mate has been playing that game nonstop the past few days. A store over here started selling '10 on Friday. One thing I noticed is that the few games I saw played online, interceptions happened more than they should. It seemed like every time the QB was hit a lob ball would be up for grab and the defense would have no problem getting the ball. Still I like this version a lot.

I thought 09 was turnover heavy also.. that's kind of a pain.. but still the tackling was awesome in the demo for 10.. and it's really a lot better than 09 in that aspect.. I love recruiting and Building teams through the dynasties modes though, so this game should be a lot of fun

All the rules seem fair to me.
My non conference isn't too bad UConn and Tennessee I'm sure will be tough though.
Just received my rooming assignment for OU next year also.

Only Unfortunate thing, is I won't start this league until we can get some good named rosters.. and the rosters that hit retail from EA were very crappy.. I'll keep you all posted, and have invites ready for you once I have the good named rosters
