New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What is the prequel about ? We all know the LOTR story and the hobbit story. What other important stuff is left ?

Uh....

Tolkien's writings literally go back to how the universe was created.

I'm not getting past s2e1

I can only try so many times for practicalitys sake. Dozen times means I'm not into it.

You slogged through Season 1 of The Leftovers and couldn't get through season 2 of The Wire?

It took a handful of tries for season 1 too, but the drug addicts side story got me into it enough

I watched the first two episodes of Netflix’s The OA. It has me interested enough to watch more.

Bubbles has the best character arc in the whole series imo.

Carver's is pretty good too.

Going to rewatch OA, saw it about this time in 2017 and I totally forgot the details. New season I think comes out end of this month.

Definitely recommend "You" has a Dexter feel to it, but different. Interesting.

Arrow ending after next season. They gave it a 10 episode order which makes me think they have something ready to replace it.

I feel like Black Lightning still hasn't hit it's stride. While season 2 has been better than season 1, it's clearly at the bottom of the DC/CW superhero shows.

I also hope that Arrow ending isn't the start of the end of the DC and CW relationship. The DC universe shows are good but they are a completely different kind of shows to the CW stuff.

My daughter said the star wants to move on with his career, I told her that Arrow is his career. It's like Denise Crosby (had to google her name) leaving Star Trek the next generation to start a movie career because she had one role line up. They killed her character off, her movie career bombed, and she missed out on 6 more seasons of the show + 4 movies, each one of which made more money than the movie she left the show for (Pet Semetary)

This happens all the time. There are far more actors that fail to ascend to the next level than go on to be the next George Clooney.

Mischa Barton left the OC to never been seen again. Katherine Heigl left Grey's anatomy to do a couple movies and now is a side character on Suits, which I think most people hope she gets cut from the show.

It's even dumber in today's market for actors. Big name actors seem to do HBO and Netflix shows to have a constant income. The mid tier movies aren't being made anymore. It's either jump on to a superhero movie or hope you can get into a Oscar level movie.

On season 3 of Crashing. It's ok, but I think I'm holding out for it to be funnier.

Are you really trying to convince people you'd have been an Alpha Beta?

You'd have been Lambda Lambda Lambda all the way. Even Booger thinks you're not cool.

He’d have a wrestling career to fall back on.
