Personally it doesn't matter to me if the Xbox is going to be a godly creation, as I still wouldn't buy it. That said I hope they do some sort of cross platfom games so I can play online with some boxers. PS3 players absolutely suck at the games I play.

PS4 has some nice features and is confirmed to come out this year, plus you don't have to pay to play online. That being said, this XBOX will have to look pretty horrible for me to pass on it.

I've never owned a PlayStation - always been an Xbox honk. I see no need to hate or pick one side or the other at this point.

This is a consumer's dream - two brand new, next-gen consoles that will more than likely launch in the same quarter. I pledge no allegiance to Xbox and will go with the console that best fits my needs. At this point I use the console as much for TV/Media activity as I do gaming. Can't wait to see how each will extend it's media capabilities (Netflix, Hulu, Mobile,etc...). I recently got rid of cable and am also hoping to see a better interface for NBA/MLB/NFL apps on the consoles.

Ultimately, we all win. Pick the flavor that fits your needs.

Unless 2k finally fixes MLB I will be getting a PS4 for The Show.....if anything at all. My xbox slowly became a netflix/mlb.tv machine.

Seriously? What's with the pissing contest? Who gives a shit which console you like better? Personally I prefer the box, not going to hate on the PS3 though. It's got some games I enjoy (Uncharted, God of War).

Personally I don't get a ton of use out of my PS3 besides those single player games I mentioned, not a big fan of the online play. Doesn't mean I'm going to trash it for no reason though.

Can someone break down the new features on the PS4? From what I've seen it's not really that big of a deal. No idea what the new Xbox has in store yet.
