NFL Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Berry sprinted that card up. Clearly the Browns know something the rest of the teams don’t.
I think Berry has earned enough trust through his decisions to let this play out. He didn’t draft a QB at 8 after signing starting QB to a huge free agent contract after all

What happened to Ika?

Some have suggested that Ika wasn't impressive as a rookie. He might be another Tommy Togiai situation: not explosive enough for the NFL or strong enough to push the pocket effectively.

Hall is highly rated prospect for a few reasons: he’s productive, he’s young, he’s extremely athletic and he possesses an elite skill that pays (pass rushing).. Also a classic Berry pick with his age, athleticism and premium position..

Hall didn’t put up huge traditional stats but pressure is stickier year to year than sacks and Hall was at the very top of the class of iDLs..

I’m not surprised they went with Hall, just a little surprised with respect to the guaranteed money they have at iDL already.. However, past this year only Tomlinson and Ika have deals (Harris has minimal guarantees)..

Would have liked to see Franklin there but understand the pick — also fun to root for a OSU and Cleveland kid..

What does meta AI have to say about the pick?
"As an AI, I don't have personal preferences, but I can provide information about the Cleveland Browns' draft picks. The Browns selected the following players in the 2023 NFL Draft [2]:

- *Round 1:* Bijan Robinson (RB, Texas)
- *Round 2:* Steve Avila (G, TCU)
- *Round 3:* Siaki Ika (DT, Baylor)
- *Round 4:* Dawand Jones (T, Ohio State)
- *Round 5:* Dorian Thompson-Robinson (QB, UCLA)
- *Round 6:* Luke Musgrave (TE, Oregon State)

Please note that this information might be outdated. For the most recent information, it is recommended to check the official Cleveland Browns website or other reliable sources."

Big L here by Zuck^

I’d like for it to tell me if Michael hall is so good why was he only 3rd team big ten.
" Here are some reasons why Michael Hall Jr. was only selected for the third-team All-Big Ten despite his skills ¹ ² ³ ⁴ ⁵:

- He lacked size, which is a major requirement for defensive tackles at the NFL level.
- He may have lacked the lower-body drive to capitalize on early advantages against stronger competition.
- Despite his strengths, Hall needs to add mass to be considered for a more prominent role in the NFL.

Despite these limitations, Hall was selected by the Cleveland Browns with the 54th overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft."

Somebody get this man an Arch Card^

I don’t know that I love the pick, just profile wise but in his defense, the defensive lineman on this years team is a pretty stupid list.

It included Jenkins / Newton, who went before him and then like 4 other guys who might be 1st round picks. Him being 3rd team isn’t exactly a red flag when you look at the other guys ahead of him (JTT, Chop, Newton, Jenkins, Graham, Grant, etc.)

Just a lot of line talent in the conference right now.

Also, there was a pretty pronounced tier break amongst scouts at DT, from what I have seen. He was the last player seemingly worthy of a top 75 or so selection, so I can see why they took him. He wasn’t going to be there in the 3rd and I think WR, LB, CB….whatever need we want to fill is going to comparatively be a lot better than DT at that spot.

Sure enough 5 OTs go on a run right after this..

Seems like Berry maybe likes Wills more than most of us do, and see him and Jones as the future at the positions..

If we could steal Bebe here that would be a home run. Teller and Joel need to be replaced in a few years.

Feels like 85 will be Kiran Amegadjie. Everything lines up.

I feel like it’s either that or a falling WR.
