we have probably talked about this in other threads but i couldnt find any.so i just wanna talk and have a laugh with u guys about how dumb drew can really be!

Ok so a couple nights ago when we were shooting free throws i saw a new technique for an offensive rebound.drew turned his back towards the hoop and had his body turned towards the crowd.now me in highschool games ill have 1 foot on the block like im ready to run in a track meet for the rebound but having ur whole back turned?

When drew was a couple assists away from a very close triple double which i think was against miliwauke.he was quoted that he told lebron to get out of the game or let him run point so he can get two assists.he said that to him during the game.

now last night i saw a quote by drew..."Our backs are really against the wall...we're so close we're almost in the wall.

now u may tell me to shut up or w/e and we all know he is a great talent with no BBall IQ.hes just pretty much dumb.well i thought i would share these laughs with my fellow RCF friends :D .

As much as i try to defend Drew, that retarded rebound thing he did was really stupid... Having your whole body turned... wtf? I didnt hear about him trying to get those last 2 Asts... and the:

"Our backs are really against the wall...we're so close we're almost in the wall."

N/m... Ill just stop there....

There are many different ways to rebound, I didnt see the incident you were talking about, but I would have my back parrallel sp? to the block and the basket and do a dip and slide if the guy I was boxing was much bigger.

Its almost like you said Drew did, but it all depends on the matchup.

I believe Gooden does have some basketball smarts (or IQ), but I just believe he doesn't have the mental capacity to concentrate over long periods of time. He just drifts off at times and makes bone head plays. In saying that, after half time he generally has a strong 3rd period, which comes after half time where he gets to mentally rest as well as physically.

Drew's a knuckle head who just doesn't get it. He hasn't been able to get it, hence he's been traded several times. Has a lot of talent, but needs to curb his enthusiasm, and stop with the constant mental errors. Constantly missing rotations, not moving with out the ball offensively, not blocking out. These are all things that take good b-ball IQ, and selflessness, drew hasn't proven he has any of those characteristics. He's considered a whiner around the league, and you wonder if he was forced to come off the bench for an entire year what his reaction would be? Would he demand a trade, or would he take it as a learning experience and work on his weaknesses?

These quotes have nothing to do with his basketball IQ, but they are pretty funny/dumb.

From SI's "They Said It" section: On the day he was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies, Drew Gooden exclaimed, "I didn't even know Elvis was from Memphis. I thought he was from Tennessee."

This is a random one I heard somewhere. "My girlfriend isn't Asian. She's Thai."

Good old drew :D .

i remember when cleveland played orlando and tmacs armband fell off and during the play Gooden stopped playing and picked up Tmacs armband up..

this was last year sometime..

This guy has had like 10 coaches in three years...of course he isnt going to "get it".

You can say he is inconsistant, but he has had so many different game plans, how is he supposed to?

That's a big point Mac. Gooden is stil only 23 and has had at least 7 different coaches since entering the league. He does do some bizarre frustrating things at times but there's no denying he has talent. Maybe if Gooden is in a stable situation for once his play will become more consistent. He's still worth holding onto but if a real good offer came along for him I do admit I would be willing to trade him.

I can't really complain about Gooden.. The guy is young. Can bust up doubles doubles on a dialy basic. Yea he is going to be a little confused because every 4 months he has a new coach. I hope he has found a good home in Cleveland because I really like him and can see him going very well with LeBron James.

i think gooden did a solid job for us this year. everyone has to remember that last summer our starting power forward was tony battie. i hate to see where we would of ended up with him in the lineup...

drew needs stability.. he has been shipped around his whole career. if he just stays in one place and is taught by the right people i think that he can be a great contribter for years to come. i am not saying he is the smartest person in the world, how do we know that? but there have been games that drew has shown a lot of heart and determination. heres hoping we get a coach in here that will give drew support and stability he needs.....

He probably has ADD. As far as the "Our backs are really against the wall...we're so close we're almost in the wall." quote goes......ill look for that one on my 365 Dumbest things ever said calender for 2006.

Lol I remember Drew trying to do a off the backboard alley-oop pass to himself when we were getting blown out. LeBron just moved to the end of the bench like he was embarassed and didnt want to have anything to do with him.
