Ohio State Top Target Braxton Miller Set To Announce College Choice

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Miller is a more polished QB coming out of HS than Troy and Terrelle. Troy wasn't even recruited as a QB... he was an athlete who could scramble but couldn't pass for shit. Pryor had great scrambling ability but poor throwing mechanics.

Miller is far better coming out of HS.

Glad we are securing the future then. Too bad I will be graduated after Pryor's senior year, would love to watch this kid play.

You don't have a TV?

Ehh you can still go to a game! Tickets aren't impossible to come by.

Tru dat, I might not be living in Columbus after I graduate though!

We'll see. I got two years of national title contention to look forward to right now while I'm here, so I won't complain. Too bad Miami tickets sold out in the first 2 hours, my purchase window doesn't even open until Friday...

Kinda sucks how they changed the way they do tickets. Maybe they set aside a certain number of tickets for each group?

Goddammit. There goes that.

I saw Miller play last year versus Canton McKinley. I think the "more polished" than Pryor talk is a bit of wishful thinking.

I basically saw a Pryor highlight video. Guy who is bigger and faster than anyone he plays against. He has a cannon arm, but you never saw them run complimentary routes or sophisticated combinations. It was all "get as deep as you can, and Miller will fling it 50 yards".

He has tremendous upside, but he's far from polished.

So far it looks like OSU has a good recruiting class by getting Miller who is #16 best in county and a DE from Canton Mckinley who is #18 in country.

Miller hasn't even announced yet. There with be LIVE footage of hi announcement today on FSN Ohio, I think a little before noon.

Dude, he's a Buckeye.

Just like Seantrel.

Braxton was playing my Bulldogs in clip. Hopefully Steve Miller chooses OSU like Braxton. Steve Miller is the freak DE for McKinley.

But to address the previous argument, OSU was known for their defense and wide receivers, and running backs. Not one of the QBs listed was coveted or highly sought after. They were all average. TP is the only highly recruited QB that OSU has had in years, and the jury is still out on him. So the argument lacks validity because no one was expecting those other guys listed to develop into NFL QBs. I mean Troy Smith barely won a starting roll his junior season. No highly scouted QB battles for starting spots in their 3rd season.

The jury may be out on Pryor, but he is right on schedule. Nobody can argue that. Rose Bowl win in his 2nd year (where he was the reason we won, pretty much) as a starter? Nice.

Miller will probably be the QB for 2011-2012, because Pryor is gonna go pro if he has even a decent year, IMO.
