On The Clock: 2017 RCF NFL Mock Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
With the 97th pick in the 2017 RCF Mock Draft, the Miami Dolphins are proud to select...

Demarcus Walker, DE, Florida State!

Don't care what any rankings may say, I like this guy too much to pass him up here.

Demarcus is a guy we have been watching for a while and was extremely productive across the DL, although in the NFL he will need to keep his motor running all the time if he wants to be successful. With that said he has a great base, and quality tools. He will be able to be a base end on run downs and slide inside in pass rush situations where he likely has too much quickness for many G's to handle.

Between Walker and Willis, the Dolphins hopefully have their core DEs of the future and quality depth in the short term. No longer will we have to rely so heavily on Branch and Wake alone.

With the 98th pick in the RCF Mock Draft the Carolina Panthers select....

Noah Brown, WR, The Ohio State University

Strengths
Possesses a unique combination of size, speed, agility and body control. Accelerates smoothly down the sidelined when able to get a clean release, showing off straight-line speed and body control. Drops his hips and turns with fluidity. Versatile athlete who has seen snaps at receiver, H-back and on special teams.

Weaknesses
Still very inexperienced at the position.

Rational:The Panthers have a fetish for Ohio State WR's (Ted Ginn, Philly Brown) and Ohio State players in general. Both Ginn and Brown are gone, and the WR room is a little bare outside of Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funchess... other names include Keyarris Garrett, Charles Johnson, Russell Shepard, Brenton Bersin, LaRon Byrd, and more randoms of the like. The issue with Brown is he's very similar to Benjamin/Funchess in terms of being a big bodied, possession type WR, but Brown's stock is on the rise after testing well since his surprise declaration to go pro.

Panthers Draft:
1. Dalvin Cook, RB, FSU
2. Budda Baker, S, Washington
3a. Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan
3b. Noah Brown, WR, Ohio State

Noah Brown is going to be a really, really good player for someone.

With the 100th pick the Tennessee Titans select:

Montravious Adams: DT Auburn

I almost drafted him with my last pick, then almost took him again with Soda's pick. Scheme flexible, can play end or penetrating defensive interior, will likely go in the second round next month. Great pick, Moz!

Yea, he was my 2nd option at 97.

We always do four rounds, because we got an earlier start I'm hoping we finish round 5 this year. I updated the first page for Soda.

Alright! That would be fun to get through 5 rounds of not the whole draft.

With the 101st pick in this long ass draft, the Denver Broncos choose TE Jordan Leggett, Clemson.

@buckeyefan and the Seattle Seahawks are on the clock.

Just make with the draft grades, teach.

I'll do draft grades at the end... Even though I hate reading draft grade articles right after the draft. We always read about the Browns getting As and Bs the day after the NFL draft... but then in the Fall we still suck!
