Open Discussion (Cavs + related issues)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I hate to do this but his second tweet actually is true. So far, of the upper tier playoff teams, the Cavs have made the most impactful trade(Korver)

We may strike a deal in the next 48 hours but we're just as likely to hold out and see what the buyout market looks like or roll the dice on Chalmers/Lance/Cole

This. We'd all be shitting our pants right now if that Korver trade had went down the last two days.. We should be thankful that we were able to be so under-the-radar about it to begin with. I didn't have the slightest clue he could be had to begin with.

If you're gonna pimp Shumpert as a 40% 3 point shooter you can't also talk about his good defense.

He's a 40% 3 point shooter THIS year. Rest of his career, not close. Likewise, he's been a poor defender this year.

And he's got exceptionally dynamic hair.

Keep in mind that most of the trades in the Gilbert era occurred without a warning--I believe the Cavs under Gilbert require as a precondition to any trade talk strict confidentiality (until the last minute when Woj then Windy tweet about it). I believe the stuff we've heard publicly is usually put out by agents, GMs looking for leverage or media types looking for clicks.

So, whatever we've been hearing about forget, i.e., the Melo trade. It's what we've not been hearing about that is so exciting.

So far, lots of non-news involving the Cavs. Be VERY excited....

Shumpert has been an average defender overall this year(by the numbers). I believe he actually started the season out quite poor as well, but in the last six or so weeks he has been much closer to "good Shump", which has elevated his overall numbers to "average".

While I agree, I will not forget the Melo creamy nougat until we play New York on Thursday.

Im surprised the cavs are so focused on pg

I guess its what the king wants

I think defensive big is more important

Im only into mack if they get withey too

Does that count?

Wtf? Langston Walker does nothing for us. He's undersized, plays our deepest position, doesn't create for others, and possibly worse than Shump at handling the ball.

Lou Williams for brewer and a first. Assuming brewer gets bought out. We can finally reunite love and brewer! :chuckle:
