OSU recruit better than Lebron...

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

your talking pro before this guy has walked across the stage, if CDT came across the "OSU Signs..." would you be all over him as well? pipe dreams my friend, pipe dreams.
I never said anything about him as a pro. All I said was "he's supposed to have a game like Pistol Pete's." That doesn't mean I think he'll be as good as PP at the pro level, it just means his style of play is similar to PP's.

The kid is a very special high school player. Will he be a player at the next level? I don't know. How anything I said could be interpreted as a pipe dream is beyond me.

It's really worthless to discuss anything with you cali...you ruin almost every thread you post in. You are worse than rlaw every was.

SHAZAM!

I am def. taking Mac's side on this one.I have played against and followed Dallas since 7th grade. The guy has a ton of potential. He is LeBron's size, but he has no post game.

With the help from the coaches at OSU he can become something, but as of now Dallas won't do much at all in the Big Ten.He got held to 4 points against a 7 footer from Jersey.

Dont be bitter that this kid has it better than you. You wish you could have played at a major university like OSU. All you say is how good you were in soccer and blah blah blah. Go look yourself in the mirror and admit your nothing special.

I ruin every thread I post in eh. Damn, that hurts.

Read the post above yours....that's all I have to say.

I mean I can go on and on,I go to Brush,he has always been in my conference.I have been playing against this guy since 7th freakin grade!!!He has become huge muscular wise, his potential is outta this world.

The guy needs a better work ethic, everything has come too easy for him his whole life in the basketball world. The big ten will be an eye opener for him, especially if Oden stays and he has to face him every day in practice.

You goto Brush huh? I live in Lyndhurst

who's that 7 foot recruit going to OSU next fall?

Kofous from Glen Oak?? If that's who you are talking about, he's nice.

He has a nice touch from three, can move pretty good for a guy his size. Isn't afraid to rebound and stay down low.

Only draw backs, doesnt look that strong. May not do well with pounding with other big guys.

But he should be a stud for OSU. What really would have helped him was playing next to Oden...but I doubt that happens.

I talked about this kid last year and have been watching for the last 3 years now. Read down in the post in the link for what I wrote about him. He was apart of the greatest game I ever seen with Charlie Frye and a handful of Browns in attendance last year.

He plays for the Northern Ohio League, D II, with teams like Norwalk, Shelby, and Willard (Where I, and athletes recently like Nick Dials, Jimmy Langhurst, and Charlie Frye are from) if anyone is familiar to the area. A league rich in tradition in Ohio and where a handful of great players have passed through over the years.

Diebler is a special talent. One of the greatest I have seen at the High School level. Will the translate into a great player in college? On most cases a player of Dieblers style does not.

That being said I belive he will be a excepton and turn many of heads at the Ohio State and give us former players that are sacred to the NOL (Northern Ohio League) something to root for and smile about.

As far as Deibler...Im not mad at anything he has done. He has had an amazing career. I said the kid has stroke and can move pretty good for a kid his size. But he is still skinny, he is still not the quickest guy in the world and he will struggle against the talent in the Big Ten. The guys at that level are freaks as athletes.

Why does everyone have to hate on Mac for voicing his opinions. Happens everyday. I for one like seeing a different point of view now and then. Do I agree with it? Not all the time. But I have been following the regular posters on this board around dating back to the ESPN days with Karma and have always enjoyed what A MAC has had to say.

There, enough voice of reasoning. The only reason I bring it up is that i actually agree with A MAC on this with Diebler and I have been watching him almost his entire career. I worry about his build, quickness, and lack of defense but I that does not meen that I am not rooting for him to excel, not only for where he is from but that he his continuing his career with the Buckeyes.

Yeah that's him.... ...Him and Oden playing together would be sick but doubt that happens.

I agree with Mac's assessment of all 3 players.

Dallas is freaking lazy.

Koufus has great work ethic and tons of potential...a great kid.

Deibler is playing against some pretty weak competition. I saw him play on TV 2 weeks ago and he dropped 67 on somebody in overtime. He has a great handle and can really shoot. But he was shooting over a bunch of 6 foot white kids. It was no competition for him whatsoever. Not saying he won't make it at the next level, but it will be a tougher jump for him than other kids coming from more competitive leagues.

Yeah we play Riverside tomorrow.

My assistant coach's father is the coach of that team....they got a kid that avgs like 30+ PPG. I guess if you can stop him, they are done. So theres my scouting report, lol.

Not sure how good they are.

But Koufos does have an amazing work ethic, he was spending 6 hrs a day with a trainer throughout all of last summer so he def has the drive to be as good as he can get. If he can get a little quicker, stronger and more physical, he will def be a lottery pick after his OSU career.
