Sounds like we are losing out on some guys.

Ugh. It's completely boujee for me to say, but the Buckeye's aren't impressing at the finish-line... Emory Jones is gonna end-up at Florida, Brenton Cox stayed in Georgia, Jackson Carman is going to commit to Clemson, and Woodbey may flip to USC. Even with the excitement of who OSU DID get, the end here is a bit gloomier than OSU fans expected.

Yeah, they will be okay. I think the QB room right now is pretty promising as is. Emory looked like the real deal but next year there will be two more guys to take his place.

Could also add Micah Parsons to that list too, although that seemed like more of a mutual thing that he isn't coming here. It's frustrating, but the only one I'm really bummed over is Woodbey. Jackson Carman and Emory Jones have totally turned me off throughout this process. Jones would've had a spot if he wasn't so wishy washy in where he wanted to go, and Carman has just come across as a douche from day one... 17 year old kid or not.

And I think they grab Tyreke Smith, so they’ll more than make up for Cox wanting to stay closer to home, IMO.

But too many similarities with some of the recruits. Carman, Jones, Parsons...they flaked, and you don’t flake with Urban Meyer. You are either in, or out, can’t play both sides or he’ll move on to someone 100% in. My understanding is that Jones wants in, but OSU stopped recruiting him once he kept visiting other schools after the Penn State game and Baldwin committed. His own damn fault, but these are also teenagers, so can’t blame them for being flakey. Sometimes we forget these are kids.

Not technically recruiting related, but Trevon Grimes is transferring to Florida. It's a shame too, he's a helluva talent.

Sounds like a mixture of home sickness combined with a sick family member down in Florida. Think it was a tough year trying to nurse his knee back to health with family so far away. Just didn't work out in end....good luck to him.
