Even if he is the new Manny Harris, at least this time we didn't waive Danny Green to make room for him. That was my biggest gripe with Manny Harris. For all the scrubs we had during those years, the one we gave up on too early became a very useful player.

That's probably it but it's interesting that we would waive him when we only have 9 (now 8 healthy players). Maybe we resign him or have another deal that we need the roster spot for.

We are really close to the luxury tax line. Maybe the plan all along was to get McCaw on a mininium deal so he can be a UFA in the summer. There isn't much money available around the league to get him more than that. It was always puzzling to me why Koby and Gilbert would want to get so close to the luxury line before the trade deadline.

Good read to what the organization says the reasoning with McCaw. They said he didn't show enough to guarantee him the rest of the season. They are willing to work out a lesser deal with him. They thought he was a better talent than anyone they could get in the G-league. They needed bodies and was the primary reason why they signed him. Said it wasn't an arranged deal with his agent.

So the NBA is going to investigate the signing and release of a scrub who showed how bad he was in 3-4 games but didn’t want to touch the clear interference from the Heat back when they got LBJ and Bosh. LOL!!! I guess we just got screwed out of the number one overall pick this year...

We got all those picks from Miami as compensation so we wouldn't have the nba investigate it.
