I get it.
I'm just saying that one side continues to victimize the children repeatedly (encouraging the use of child porn) while their method is in question. The other side doesn't continue to victimize children repeatedly while their side is in question.
If they want to start creating some kind of super convincing virtual reality experience for these pedos to have sex with children in or something, then I'm all for it. Maybe there is a cottage industry for creating child porn software that could save children from being abused.
@gourimoko get on it! There was some other dork that draws really convincing Skyrim characters as well. Maybe he could help too...
I just don't like the idea of them sharing and using pictures of sexual abuse victims.
I think that the point pictures are circulating, the damage is done and I wouldn't imagine the victims were aware of circulation. That stuff seems pretty well hidden.
Notorious posted an article about how difficult it was to actually access it..
Or are you taking issue with the fact it shouldn't be done out of the honor of the victim, instead of the pain of knowing its circulated?
Sure, weigh cost/benefit of virtual reality and if it works. If it works, if works.
I'd start with therapy, on a more probation officer level, but I don't really know if this helps anything or the amount of people or helps or the cost benefit.
I still haven't decided the best way to deal with drug addiction and I'm going through it, meaning it's imperative to me to figure out, but I think that different things are going to work for different people.
In drug addiction, some argue decriminalization.. some argue methadone, to keep you satiated enough while you deal with the actual cause of your addiction and eventually kick when everything is in order (compared to cp, virtual reality, or providing their fix).. a radical method is to simply just let them use in a safe place (also comparatively cp, wouldn't really dare say "engage in sex acts freely" on that one.
Point is, there's a lot of ways you could deal with it, and what works for some won't work for others. There should be a better understanding and an empathy for these people, the ones who don't act or harm, and to a lesser extent the ones that do act, as they are normally literally mentally handicapped and/or victims themselves.
That's a far cry from accepting the behavior, but the main take away is dehumanizing people isn't going to fix a damn thing. These people are going to remain tight lipped, the Joe PAs of the world will stay quiet, and treatment won't be administered or available, which means your kids gonna get fucked, and all of this in summation means you are terrified of letting your kids go outside, because the problem isn't addressed properly
