PLAYOFF GAMEDAY THREAD #1

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Triple post...

It’s actually better that they kept getting back in the game and never made it bc you know goddamn well that they thought they were gonna Browns us.

Now they know.

They showed Ben crying - tears coming down his face.

How fucking sweet is that?

Hours later, it feels unreal that this is how the Browns re-entered the playoff world.

You know what was cool was seeing people who have played in Cleveland standing up for the Browns. Jason Kipnis, LeBron (of course), and many others commenting in support. Tim Couch and other former Browns, or people who were around in Cleveland in the last 2-3 decades.

I hope we hear from Earnest Byner. Guy played his heart out for us and especially the playoff game in Denver. It was heartbreaking watching him talk about failing Cleveland many years later. Great that he was in the parade in 2016 but I really hope the Browns win it all at some point and he gets to participate in that as well. 10th round draft pick who gave everything he had and in one cruel moment everything he worked for went away.

Yeah, there's something about the affection with which so many former players hold the Browns that is really cool.

I'm still kind of stunned. We had no freaking business winning that game considering all the roadblocks. Amazing testament to the organizational strength and leadership both on and of the field.

Baker's mental strength/leadership for this game can't be surpassed. Other guys may match it, but he pegged the meter.

Going through this kind of fire and winning that game is something these guys will always remember. It is the defining moment of the comeback of the franchise, and these guys will be forever bound together by it.

So. Fucking. Cool.

Great win. Amazing. Huge for the franchise. And finally proved to me that they can do it.

Will be fun to see how they fare against KC. Best season since 1989. Keep it going.

Oh, and obviously Baker is the guy. Thanks Dorsey.
