I'm still where I was during the draft. The only picks I liked this year were Emerson and Ford.
It's still to be seen which class comes out ahead--but if we go Andrew Berry's route, there are two small moves that I won't ever forgive him for.
- Selecting a kicker at 124. I don't care how good you think the kicker is in college--drafting kickers isn't wise. Nugent, Crosby, I don't care how good they are--kickers are too random to waste a draft pick on. Pick 124 should've been Zach Tom, and I bet Tom would've beaten out Hudson to be our third tackle right now--or beat out Froholdt to be starting at center.
- Not bringing in Armani Rogers as a priority UDFA. Rogers could've been that diamond in the rough you develop as another tight end in Njoku's role. He was right in your back yard and you never even showed interest.
