Game Notes

The Detroit Pistons opened their preseason in style, demolishing a weakened Miami team who played without Wade, Shaq, Walker amoung others. The Cavalier's played like they had all their stars out, looking very rusty in their heavy defeat at the hands of the Wizards.

With Varejao still unsigned, Cedric Simmons injured and Dwayne Jones looking poor, this will be a good chance to take another look at Tolliver and Felix who have a reasonable opportunity to stick with this squad.

We should see a little more cohesion this time round, after an attrocious 27 or so turnovers in game 1. This is the preseason, so the care factor would be minimal, but the coaching staff would want to see some considerable improvement game to game.

The Pistons look very tough tonight with their core in place with a couple of exciting rookies to boot.

No vision, but the box score says LeBron and Z are putting on a show and the offense is flowing.

8 field goals from just 11 attempts with 7 of them assisted. Those are pretty numbers.

As the starters get replaced, so does the offense.

This lineup of Dwayne, Donny, Devin, Shannon and Amon blows big time.

Well Dwayne is certainly making his presense felt. 3 blocks in a couple of minutes.

Whats the score i don't have the radio on.

This 2nd quarter is a repeat of the Washington game. Gibson having trouble with 4 turnovers.

38 - 29 Pistons with 4 to play in the half.

We have a 2 : 1 point to turnover ratio.

With 6:30 left in the 3rd quarter, Gibson gets his 7th turnover. Glad I skipped this game too.

Good to see new recruit Devin Brown will a solid night of 10 points, 5 boards, 2 assists and no turnovers.

Damon Jones is having another steady night, heck even Dopey Donny is contributing.

Cavs up 5 with 8 remianing.

Shannon keeps turning the ball over...

Both teams going deep into their benches for the stretch. Up 1 with 2.30 to play.
