Game Notes

Whilst the win loss column holds little relevance, the Cavalier's would be looking to get a win up to boost their confidense heading into the season in just under a week. Devin Brown is listed as the probable starter, so this will be a good opportunity for him to get some burn with the starters after exclusively playing with our mediocre bench. This will be a tough night for us to tag their quick point guards, but they will have similar dramas stopping our front court of James, Drew and Z.

This should the first game we see Coach Brown start to show his probable rotations for the season proper.

TJ Ford looks like the Last Dragon. He's got the power of the glow.

I wish the game was on TV. I would like to watch the Brown/Ford match-up.

It could have been a Battle of Texas if Gibson wasn't injured. Damn!

Chris Bosh is playing tonight.

Sloppy start, turnovers and fast break 3's conceded. 7-2 Raptors.

Larry with couple early buckets. We have them in foul trouble and are at the line.

Lets hope we can become at least average this season at the charity stripe. You could honestly say we had a few losses that were a result of bad shooting there.

I really like Devin's game with this starting squad. Really compliments them in my opinion.

We are getting their swingmen in foul trouble. They actually might get desperate enough to play Fluke Jackson.

Another early Dwayne Jones arrival. It is safe to say he is a rotational player now. Who woulda thought?

Shannon off to a shocking start. We need him to be productive with our current roster.

Worrying sign thus far in the preseason certainly is our bench. Once again the starters were solid in general (game was tied when they started to sit) and once again we fell away when the bench guys checked in.

End of the first. 23-18 Toronto

Devin Brown, SG 2 points
Larry Hughes, G 6
Drew Gooden, PF 0
LeBron James, SF 6
Zydrunas Ilgauskas, C 4

Turnovers and fouls still haunting Shannon.
