PS Week 2 (8/20): Bills @ Browns [8:00 PM EST, ESPN]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Now I remember why I don't watch preseason football.

Only issue is this is probably a preview of regular season as well.

So all it takes now is for Johnny to come in and look really solid and I'm sure we'll start hearing about how the "competition" is heating up right?

If the Bills find decent QB production, they're going to the playoffs this year.

Tyrod looking like Big Ben in the pocket exclusively vs us.

very poor decision by McCown there. Stepped up but didn't get his feet under him and launched a poor pass deep down the field. Jump balls for Travis Benjamin is a bad idea every time.

So is anybody high on this offense being at least competitive? I'm not even optimistic this year, they're going to stink the joint up, the defense will average around 70 plays again and be gassed as ever.

Comparison: very Cleveland Indians like, boring.

They'll just have to prove it

We're carting out a QB that is the definition of average.

Competitive? I mean, I guess it depends on your definition.

Everyone better pray to god the OL gels, so we can run 60% of the time.

If we're consistently throwing more than we're running, it's going to be a long year IMO.

Honestly I hope, Josh sucks. Dude can not lead us to 8 wins.

How many more first rounders do we need to invest in the offensive line before they are a decent unit?

I don't see how this team is scoring points this year.

Competitive as in what Hoyer did for us last season before the choke job.

Offense was bad, but they stayed with it. I doubt we reach 7-4 though.

That's what worries me the most. If it was a throw with a receiver with size, it would have been fine, but we have nothing but midgets on that side of the ball.

Regardless of how good, or bad McCown is, this offense is really going to struggle. That's not a real surprise though.

Thank goodness, Barnidge is back in. Now the offense can get rolling.
