Like this?
I mean, seriously? Is this what you've succumb to? Criticizing Democrats for rallying against Nazis?

Meanwhile, the President of the United States politicized an international tragedy in Spain by citing a parable which he passed off as fact?

Call it both ways, man. And stop coming to the defense of white supremacists.

No doubt some people have been through some heinous shit, but if you expected that to be validated from some 50 question internet test, you weren't being realistic to begin with.

Regardless, it's a hell of a lot easier to be a straight white male in our society than it is to be anything else. That much should be obvious.
Where is the proof of this? Are there any laws that discriminate against people that aren't white straight males? Does anybody know exactly what's its like to live as anything other than their ethnicity, sex, and orientation?

I think you guys aren't seeing the forest for the trees and @The Human Q-Tip is. Which is strange, because the forest benefits you guys.

And from your perspective, one would think you'd advance the argument that the end result here (lots of rallies supporting Charlottesville) would benefit all of us. But here you are attacking Q-Tip.

I was addressing a question raised by @Wrathe : why would police sit by and let this happen? And that's been the case not only in Charlottesville, but also when leftists disrupted events over the spring and summer in a bunch of places that did not involve Nazis.

And the answer is that the political leaders in those places believe that the violence benefits their side politically. Much more so than if the cops were seen bludgeoning leftist activists with whom much of their base sympathises, just to protect the right to assemble of people they don't like.

So from a purely utilitarian perspective, the left doesn't mind this kind of violence one bit. Of course, the corrolary to that is that those governments are essentially in cahoots with violent leftists suppression free speech and assembly.

But I don't think that bothers most of them, which is why few of them speak out against it to any degree.

A lot of people (not all) who refused to vote for Hillary made an argument along these lines, that a Trump presidency would actually be good in the long run because it would ruin the reputation of the Republican party to such an extent that Dems would dominate all future elections.

I don't really agree; it's human nature to think you can make chaos play into your hands (see: gambling), but that goes against the nature of chaos. People on the left who understand this would happily see the white supremacist movement nipped in its bud, even if it means missing out on an opportunity for political brownie points.

This is hysterical coming from someone who openly refuses to learn about Muslims by listening to Muslims, whilist founding his whole Islamic world view on a white atheist.

It's actually pretty easy. You talk to someone not like you and you think to yourself " wow I have it made made". You aren't supposed to feel guilty, you feel grateful.

I live with a Chinese girl, shes not like me. Different sex, different ethnicity, is arguably more 'privileged' than me. Does that not count?

Well sure it can. Depends on how much you pay attention.

So, what, are you accusing me of being a shitty boyfriend or something? Do you know her more than I do? She must be oppressed right?

Haven't you traveled to her family's country a couple times too?

Yes, i've been to mainland China once. We will be going again most likely next February for Chinese new year. Her mother brags to everybody there how great it is in the US. So pretty much the complete opposite of oppression here in the USA.

Yeah, I remember when you posted all that bullshit, were totally wrong, and only Max, who is the biggest troll in the political threads, came to defend you. I remember when the guy who made the actual post disagreed with how you interpreted it, and still you went on for days pretending you were right.

Fucking joke, man.

I'm...the biggest troll...in the political threads? :bs:
