It's not evidence that he's going to be racist, but I think it makes it reasonable to bring up the possibility that hey, maybe we need to look into the groups he's associating with and what he believes in to see if it will affect his decision making.

I don't understand this argument. It's certainly *possible* for him to privately believe in a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, and still perform his job in a fair and unbiased way. That's what judges are, in theory, supposed to do all the time...put aside their personal biases and uphold the law.

Your post implied that donating to the KKK is the right-wing analogue to donating to La Raza, and I took issue with that.

Trump has frequently pandered to his racist supporters, most recently by pardoning a certain racist supporter.
