CAVALIERS' KEYS TO THE GAME

  • Cavaliers just come off a huge win at home against chicago, have momentum swinging on their side.

  • Get Drew going early, crash the boards and have him take it to the rook Charlie.

OVERVIEW
Cavs need to get on a little pace against these sub 500 teams, Toronto has picked thereselves up after a dissapointing start but look for a big Cavs W at home.

A couple of posters were commenting on how the Raptors have been playing .500 ball over some period of time. Well they just beat the Celtics to stop a 5 game losing streak. Home game vers the raptors whould be an easy one.

Hey thanks for making the preview. Rep.

I am almost certain this game is a win. No mercy, take no prisoners and the game is ours.

Canada Sucks!!!!!!!!!

Toronto are a dangerous team. They have struggled the past week, but have had some big wins just before. Teams like the Raptors and hawks are knocking over some fancied teams. In saying this, we should take this game.

The battle on the boards is vital with Bosh and Villanova very active and will punish you on hustle points. At the perimeter, Mo Pete can get hot along with Mike James.

The Raptors have little answer defensively for James, and Z has some size advantage. Keep pounding inside and expose their weak front court depth.

This may be a tough game. The Raptors have been playing great as of late. Hopefully the Cavs get a W.

I expect nothing less than a comfortable win tonight. This team needs to show the maturity that it takes to be a true contender.

The key to this game is................Z

Toronto does not have anyone to matchup with him. We all know that LeBron is going to dominate, but Z is the key. They are probably going to have Bosh on him some tonight. Getting the ball into Z early might get Bosh into some foul trouble, as he likes to go for the block and sometimes gets out of position.

I expect a monster game from Z on the offensive end (much like he dominates Orlando). At the worst, he's going to command a doubleteam EVERYTIME he gets the ball on the block, which will open things up on the perimeter.

Raps hang around for a half, but a big late third/early fourth run gives us a comfortable win.

Cavs 101 Raptors 86

They've lost 3 of their last 5 games in overtime.....this team competes. I agree that we need to establish Z early and go to him often.

Damon missed practice yesterday with the flu and is questionable. Hopefully this will get Sasha some deserved minutes.

I wonder what the Cavs are doing with Marty. He's up and down with the RimRockers. He's back with the team after only 3 days with Arkansas. Whats so important that he needs to be sitting behind the bench in a suit while the Cavs play Toronto?

We cant take the Raptors lightly. Cavs gotta come out strong and play for 48 min. This is a team we should beat, but you gotta play the game.

We gotta keep the winning momentum going, the demons of last years collapse are still lingering. @ Mia and @ Dal are coming up. I know one game at a time, but itll be tough to win those games. Gotta beat these teams we should beat!!!

I like Bosh. He reminds me of the NBA's Snoop Dogg. Mike James is solid. I expect Marshall to tear up his former team, and continue shooting well. With Damon ailing, maybe Sasha will produce. LBJ Z and Flip are always a threat.

Cavs play a solid game and win by 10+!!!

would u like to have marty somewhere else learning nothing about the NBA, or learning from one of the best big men in the game Z...

Problem is Hughes...The Cavs don't practice when they play games or days after back to backs. So what is Marty going to learn during this next week? He's going to learn how to sit behind the bench wearing a suit.

I was talking to some raps fans....this is what they said.....1st they expect to lose....Flip Murray has had a history of killing them big time...they think Matrshall will have a big game against some old friends and they feel they have no one who can stop LeBron.....All in all I agree with them....I think Bosh will have a huge game against us per usual big time PF's but we should hold it down and win the game as well as tomm nights game....Eric has to check Mike James or we could get into some trouble

Biggest X-factor is Bosh... he can take it outside the paint and stroke some jumpers, it will be a tough matchup for our big men. Not to mention Mike James and his outside stroke. We can't take these guys lightly...
