@Randolphkeys any idea when you will pick draft order? Also, looks like the season starts on 9/7 and the 3rd preseason games are all done by 8/28... this gives us from 8/29-9/6 to draft. I'm proposing a quiet weeknight or Sunday.

After a run of back-to-back championships (one with the RCF alternate league) and a 3rd place finish, The Clam_Slappers have fallen off recently, with back to back seasons outside of the playoffs.

Its time to reassert my dominance!

Shit...I should have mentioned this already. The 28th is my daugher's 5th bday. If you want my wife to hate me, schedule it for this day. I'm good for literally any other day.

How about a little pre draft challenge.

Whoever wins the first pick.... must do some video related to the Presidents of the United States of America song "Dune Buggy" either its in the background, you do Karaoke or some related Theme/Dance

or something like that. don't care of the theme just think it would be nice to kick off the season with a challenge where the luckiest guy tributes for that good fortune.

If the challenge is declined then that pick passes on to the next person until someone takes the challenge.

Edit and how about @FiveThous if he is interested select the closest matchup of the week by projected points and issue a challenge for the loser. it could be every week every other week

nm. I have seen first hand how adept you are at selecting things.
edit: I will translate though.
1. suggestion : draft challenge. 1st person selected to draft will have to submit a video of some sort.
2. Yahoo has projected points and predicts head to head matches on a weekly basis. Suggestion: the closest match up would automatically be a challenge. You would pick the match and moderate the challenge.
3. Conclusion: Judging by the roster I inherited picking things is not your forte and so suggestion 2 has been rescinded.

You should receive a notification that the draft will be August 29th at 8pm EST. The time has to be eight because of West Coasters like me. The draft order will be determined after keepers are announced on August 21st. As I previously mentioned, it's a big enough advantage to luck into a high pick, so selecting draft order before the keepers is just augmenting that advantage further.

On the production value of the draft lottery - last year my phone was on it's last legs and I didn't have a lot of memory left. I was worried it was going to cut off before the draft ended. I have a new phone now and I'll bite The bullet and delete my downloaded lesbian interracial tribbing video for more space. I'm making big personal sacrifices over here.

Related note: I traded my 4th round pick to Fivethous last year but I'm motivated to trade back into the 4th. One of my likely keepers has a 4th round value but I don't want to blow a 3rd rounder on him.

Can a player be traded after keepers are declared and the draft order is set? Then, that player be kept instead? It's difficult figuring out what draft picks would be acceptable compensation in a trade without knowing when that team is drafting.

I've done trades in my home league where we flip-flop picks in a round(s). It sounds good to say, I'll trade you Freeman for the right to flip-flop picks in the second round. But that's useless if we pick 6th and 7th.

Anyway...

I just looked over some of your rosters....Freeman for a 4th is better than a lot of you guys have. Let's make a deal!!!

Oh, and I've been in a Yahoo! league where we can do a weekly pool on our games. Each week we predict who will beat whom. That might be a good avenue to create opportunities for some bets.
