The stoned guy listened to you. Whoops. And then didn't ask for anything. How silly of me. Sometimes working all day makes you want a release; especially when you planned to work right up until the draft. I mean, an hour into the draft.

Suppose a bit of clarity in a 5 word phrase is too much to "ask" for. Thanks for the draft eval, though!

I continue to be happy that the people who logged onto Yahoo and set everything up were rewarded. I put a lot of extra time into setting this up and won't be apologizing. Best of luck to everyone.
 
@Randolphkeys how did I set my keepers? Could have sworn it was Yahoo.

Just don't understand why you're being a snide ass about it. Like, asking questions is out of line.... IDK. It was a yes or no question. Not the only working person

Ya, fuck that. I'm defending myself against someone trying to say I wasn't proactive when he knew I was forthcoming the whole time. Then to get tagged about it like I didn't go on the site like 5 times to look into shit. Then I put an olive branch out there saying I should have checked again, only to have it get poked in my eye. All after not asking for a thing or bitching.

Again. Fuck that and people who are like that.
 
My application wouldn't launch until the countdown timer was finished. I was on the site 45 minutes before the draft.

All I've really learned is that we should draft on my schedule, meaning earlier in August. If we declared keepers, set the traded picks, and drafted before school started, I'd have time to provide more of what had been requested the past week. There were even complaints about the "production value of the draft lottery.". Not sure if that was serious or complaining to complain to be honest. An earlier start to all this and I could put all the bells and whistles you'd ever want on it. I did my best relaying information but again, this was a demanding week for me to juggle the league and a new crop of students. If I'm being a dick about it, I'll wear that, but half the league that put in a little effort beforehand aren't the ones complaining today.

I appreciate the work you put in & think how it happened is just fine, but the bolded is plain false. At least in my case; I wouldn't be defending myself otherwise. Don't know how else to say it. I'll scan you the board I made for myself if you don't believe it. Have never been auto-drafted before and I'd appreciate if you'd quit making "pre-draft rankings" your metric for measuring one's "preparedness". It's a fallacy that only holds true if you plan to NOT be at the draft. I asked for a confirmation of the draft time because I couldn't find it. Not that it even matters really. It only matters to me how it's been handled after.

I've been doing fantasy football and basketball for years and I always do pre-draft rankings even though I plan to be there. Two years ago in the RCF hoops draft, I had a transportation issue and missed most of the draft. Shit comes up. That's why you do the pre-ranks and don't blame others when something goes buggy. If you don't take those steps, wear it.

I do appreciate that you are showing a little appreciation because I had to do a lot of shuffling of my life for this league in the past week. I had to find someone to pick my son up from his learning center a few days the past two weeks. All I've gotten is a few pages of bitching for it.

But I'm not even trying to say you erred!!! I said I should have re-checked a few times now; can absolutely own that. If I didn't plan to own it, I'd have bitched about a re-draft. You think I'm happy about taking Kyle Rudolph in the 4th?!

It's whatever. I'm not mad about the draft; never was mad about it at all. Taken back? Sure, but rolled with it. I really am only mad about having my self-deprecating humor turned on me & being used as the "example" of what being unprepared is. Especially when I tried to take measures to reassure myself & made contact with you in doing so.

you should be happy you took Rudolph in the 4th its the only thing saving the league from complete domination by Tornicade
 
I don't know if people took my whining as anything more than casual bitching because I want to bitch. But it gave me a chance to call Keys a douche when he acted like a pretentious asshat.
