I don’t think copyrighting is an issue unless you are a business. Even then I wouldn’t worry about it, but let’s ask @The Human Q-Tip to give us a proper legal opinion.Yeah, I have tried doing that on my own Twitter (sports_by_stats) and James has as well. I think Keys pumped it out a few times on the RBF Twitter, too.
We are recording and releasing every Monday and Thursday. I think we are going to shift to Sunday (post-game) and keep the Thursday slot, as it lets us record with most of the info.
One idea we were thinking of is doing a live call-in show before games. Would that be of interest?
We have to watch for copyright violations. Any lawyer have thoughts to avoid that problem?
I play guitar and can easily record something, but sound quality won’t be good enough, imo.
Thank you so much!!
So yeah make sure that every episode you shout out your and your guest’s Twitter handles. Twice. Just don’t assume that your audience knows who you are bc new listeners won’t.
I like a post-game, but I am more of a pre-game listener myself, which Thursday works for since I will get to it Friday morning. See how it goes - and ask your audience too.
My favorite podcast is Bankless. Just give that a listen - maybe a Friday roll up for how they have a methodical format.
and I would throw in some way where you can take a question of the day via Twitter - even if you don’t get any bites, you can make one up and say it was from me, or Jigo.
