RCF annual awards?

I think it'd be cool to have awards given out every offseason to the loyal posters here at RCF. Like MVP (most valuable POSTER...arent i funny), funniest poster (LePip gets my vote), Most passionate fan (my category...pounds chest), Greatest International fan (Karma anyone?), Rookie of the Year (for the new folk), Most likely to call you gay (do I really need to explain here?)...We could call them the Infantes (gotta respect the founder).

Just an idea to spice up the offseason. We could have polls like there are for Cavaliers news. I know RCF is still growing, almost double membership since I joined, but I just think it would be fun. What do y'all think?

I'm picking up what you are putting down. Maybe this thread should be on the main forum on the FAQ section. I am all for it as I would be considered the early favorite for most of those awards. Can't have enough 1st place ribbons in my humble opinion.

Hmmm... I suppose we can do something like this yearly if everyone wants to. Last season we gave out Poster of the Month awards to a different poster every month of the season.

I believe Infante the poster of the month was a good idea. It worked a treat last season, so I cannot see a reason for that to change despite the quality varying in standard.

Sorry bud. I just generally like to read opinions that are well set out. This means paragraphs and the like. Call me fussy!

Will there be a link where you can nominate posters for such awards? I am sure to nominate CavsDawgsTribe as he seems like a real hard core fan and he posts heaps.

Whether its sarcasm or not individual awards don't mean much, although they are nice. But in the words of LeBron stats mean nothing accolades mean nothing, it's a team game and RCF is a well oiled machine. I'm just happy the site is doing well and I can only imagine how active it will be from november to june

Yeah, the mods and admins will be the ones choosing the posters of the month. last season we had so many good posters that we had numorous tie ups. I want to stick with 2 posters of the month if we can.

I have to figure out how to put crowns under our names before we can get that thing started.

:chuckles: Nice.. Yea I like the idea of posters of the month, It was a good hit last season since we even had people complaining that they get up there. We should also have the nominated people as well like last time.
