**RCF MADDEN LEAGUE**

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
i don't even blitz like that, but when you can run 15 yards back and throw off your back foot and complete a pass:thumbdown or running to the right or left right away when you don't even have pressure. that shit is wack

That is my point. I play the game to have fun recreating football. I know how to do BS glitches like that but I am not lame enough to do it. If Id exploit the game to make me 'win' in a way that isnt real football then I'd rather not play.

Running backwards an throwing up BS across your body and across the field is not football. I can't explain why I dropped all those picks, but it happened. In the NFL 9 of 10 of those plays would be picked off so there would have been 15 INTs in the game.

I still can`t believe we are still in season 1.....

*EDIT*: Dawgpound, if he was dropping his QB 15 steps then there is no reason why your defensive ends didn't get sacks, it's all part of the game. Running with the QB and throwing on the run are all legitimate and happen in the NFL.

Yes there is ... its called glitch and cheese. I agree that in the NFL the DEs would have beat his ass down.

Did your TV break more than once? I went for it ONE time on 4th down and it was in the 4th quarter when I needed it

Do you have to play cheesey and lie? Seriously bro its a game. We all can look at the game log and see your 4th down attempts. And no you didnt need to go for it in the fourth. You would have had a better result if you played football by punting and playing defense.

Screens are a normal part of football. I probably ran 4 different screen plays a total of 6 times during the game which is quite normal in the NFL, maybe even light for a team like Philly.

I dont play the game to win. I play to have fun and recreate football, so winning has nothing to do with me not being happy, rathers its playing against a cheeser in a video game that isnt football. What you did has never and will never happen in the NFL. It is a problem with the game design. If it makes you happy trying to win that way then more power to you, but I play football.

Contain will take care of a QB scrambling to the left or right.A CB blitz would do the trick also. The whole idea on offense is to see what the defense is and run the play that will counter it. I know some people used 2-3 plays all game but it is your fault for not coming up with a better game plan.

LOL I ran QB blitz and DE contain for most of the game trying to stop it. I understand how it is stopped in real life. This was a cheesey glitch play. The play was not close to realistic. He was dropping so far back and out that my DEs ignored him and he has a player running a crossing route to the side he is rolling to to drop off to stop a CB blitz.

FYI - My game plan worked as I won fairly, but regardless of that the play is BS and is not football.

I know how the DC glitch and offside glitch and the WR ghost glitches work. If I run those and you can stop them should you have gameplanned better? Or can we admit that there are weaknesses in the game that people should not be exploiting.

From what I remember you only had 2-3 picks that hit your hand.. I'm still lost and confused on what game you're talking about. You're acting like I threw 10 passes right into your hands and you just dropped them.

Can we log in and see the 4th down attempts? You'll only see one or two.. So be my guest, bro.

One thing is right though, it is a game.. A game I think you take way to seriously..

Dropping back your quarterback is also a normal play in football. Ever see a fellow named Micheal Vick play? McNabb? Hell, are you a buckeyes fan? Do you see how Terrell Pryor works in the pocket? Oh yeah, he's rarely in it. (And I know it's college, but it just more proof it happens a lot more than you think).

Also, screen passes over and over again aren't normal in the NFL. In this game they are very easy to make big plays on, unless you know how to contain it.

I play to win, because to me winning is fun. Of course it's just a video game at the end of the day, but I enjoy winning much more than losing.

Your cheesy logic is getting annoying by the way..

EDIT: Here you go SOURCE(Just go to our game and hit Team Stats) It shows I went for it on two fourth down plays.. I remember both now that I think about it, one was 4 yards while I was trailing in the 4th quarter, and one was when it was 4th and very short. But I guess in your "cheesy" world NFL teams never go for it on 4th and short..

Right now, I can see if DawgPoundMBA loses the championship, he'll cry and make up an excuse. It's a freakin game dude. Who cares?

Screen passes are used in the NFL, have you ever watched Westbrook catch a pass? Did you watch the superbowl? Running out of the pocket is also used in the NFL, yes it's frustrating to try to defend it. However, the guy I played this week was doing it with McNabb. Did you see me complain about him running? NO! It's called avoiding the sack.

PS: I really hope DawgPound faces the guy with Sprolles, who just runs over everything. Since he likes things to be realistic...

So al teast we agree that you did lie about the amount of times that you when for it when you did on 4th and long at the beginning of the game on your own side of the field. I am glad I kicked your cheesey ass.

Sprinting backwards after the snap to take advantage of faulty AI is not football. You didnt drop back. You sprinted 15 yards backwards and towards the sideline. There is no way to talk around it. It is BITCH play period.

This 'over and over' stuff is riduclous. I use Philly's playbook but yet ran much less a percentage of screens than they would...hell my RBs had FOUR catches on the day and that includes swing passes, so your whining about LEGIT football plays doesnt really make sense.

If you play to win and cheat and lose how does that make you feel?

Right now I can see that you are pretty retarded if you think that I'd care about the outcome of a game period, especially versus cheesers. I am upset that I have wasted my time in a league where people dont play football, rather they attempt to exploit game weaknesses for wins. Did you even read my prior post? If I am listed to play either of the two QB cheesers again in the playoffs then I'll let the CPU play my game as I am not going to waste time playing cheeseball, even when I win. I'd be happy going 7-9 if I got a legit game each week. At the end of the day it is the fun of playing the game, not a stat that will die when this league vanishes.

You guys should try playing football some time...matching personnel, reading defeneses, hitting WRs after 3, 5, and 7 step routes with good WR timing....not sprinting backwards 15 yards after the snap or going for it on 4th on your own side of the field and lieing about it. Playing real football actually is pretty fun because Madden can recreate it so well if everyone agrees not to cheese. Its kind of like a chess match...like a real NFL.

And if by some chance Troy Smith becomes a starter and runs an offense where he is putting up great numbers by sprinting backwards at the snap and throwing the ball deep across his body while running in the opposite direction then I will apologize.

I'm curious Dawgpound. On defense, what player did you control on defense? If you had taken control of the either defensive ends then you could have easily used a finesse move outside and got to the QB.

Running out of the pocket is also used in the NFL, yes it's frustrating to try to defend it.

True but that is not what was happening. Imagine snapping the ball from the 50 yard line and having the ball on the right hash...once the ball is snapped the QB runs backwards to between the 35 and 30 yard lines to the left of the left hash and then waits for the WR on the left to get to the right side of the field so he can throw it across his body to hit him. That never has or never will be used in the NFL.

I used the defensive ends but Troy Smith is a lot faster than them and he has a head start. Plus if I starting taking a DE and running him out to where the QB was running to then I am no longer playing football, rather I am playing stop the QB cheese and I'd rather just let the CPU play.

I joined this league to play football. When I was QB cheesed my first game I just let it go, but now that I keep seeing it then I realize I joined the wrong leagues. I dont care that I have been winning, it still is not fun to play or defend glitch ball.

are we ever going into a new week, it is kind of bs i played my game over a week and a half ago. I also remember when I didn't play my game in a week; it got simmed, and I lose. So if people do not play by the deadline then too bad.

Excuse my french, but you're an idiot.

Normally I don't like the personal attack game, but you just take the cake.

I went for it on 4th down TWICE, not six times like you mentioned before.. I didn't break multiple tackles to get a 1st down, I failed on both attempts buddy. They were both manageable 4th down plays when I needed them the most to keep the game alive for my team. Get over yourself.

Also, I'm glad getting my ass kicked is losing by 6 points. Excellent math.

I started dropping back 15 yards and running around in the pocket because of your little bitch plays of screens over and over again. You're lucky I made mistakes with Smith or I would have ended up on the winning end.

This 'over and over' stuff is riduclous. I use Philly's playbook but yet ran much less a percentage of screens than they would...hell my RBs had FOUR catches on the day and that includes swing passes, so your whining about LEGIT football plays doesnt really make sense.
I seen Hester catch more than a few screens..

Your offense was completely shut down, you scored on a kickoff return which basically won you the game. If you don't score on that play, you lose the game and probably bitching even more.

If you play to win and cheat and lose how does that make you feel?
Its a video game.. So I feel nothing..

LOL LOSER.

1) You said that you went for it only once which was a lie. I never said that you went for it 6 times on 4th down...you should brush up on your reading ability. Please stop making up stuff (again). Hell both times you went for it really werent close to sound football decisions. Please explain to me how going for it on 4th and long from deep on your own side of the field in the first half in a close game is football.

2) You claim that you had seen Hester catch more than a few screens, so I guess the game must be lying now, not you. Remember when Hester caught the slant on on third and short for a first? How about the crossing route where he got hit sticked going out of bounds? OK that is two plays. He had 4 catches on the day. So at most he caught 2 screens.

3) SCREENS ARE A NORMAL PART OF FOOTBALL. I never ran the same play more than twice the entire game (which definately cant be said for you). You can cry all you want like a little loser cheater about screens but they are normal football....unlike your QB cheese which doesnt exist in real life.

I dont care if I win or not, I just want to play a fair game...which you are incapable of doing. How does me running at most two screens to Hester equate to you justifying your QB cheese? It doesnt loser. Why dont you learn how football works and you wont suck so bad. If I did all the BS cheats that I know exist I could beat you by 50 every game. I choose not to cheat. I choose to try to have fun and play within the norms of football. Sorry if you cant cheat.

What is your next lie? We know that you didnt go for it only once on 4th. We know that Hester did not catch more than a few screens. Anything else that you would like to try to lie about?

PS - Sound football based on actual football logic beats cheating...that is why you lost.
