Well, the Cavs (4-8) went down 5-2 in the first quarter and that would be as close as it would get. The Wizards (4-7) came into the Q tonight and paid the Cavs back for last week’s overtime loss.

Mike Brown kept C.J. Miles in the starting lineup and decided to place Waiters on the bench. It didn’t take long for Dion to make it into the game as Miles left just 2 minutes into the game with an injury. Looking back, I should have realized that was a sign that tonight was going to be rough.

After 12 games I think we can say that the Cavs have many more 38 point halfs and under 40% shooting game left for this season. It’s unfortunate, but both of those stats are becoming all too common.

Four of the five Wizard starters ended with at least 10 points (Wall 15, Beal 26, Nene 24, Webster 15). Gortat almost made it five for five, but fell short with 8 points. The Cavs’ starting unit was quite the opposite. Irving was the only starter to finish with double digits in points. In fact, he was the only starter to finish with more than 3 points. Let me say that again. KYRIE IRVING WAS THE ONLY STARTER TO SCORE MORE THAN 3 POINTS!

Read the rest of this article here. Mike Brown was not a happy camper in his post game press conference.
