Just wanna give a shoutout to T Hill. This dude lowkey has been AWESOME for us on defense. He's a helluva tackler and rarely does a guy slip his tackle, he blitzes well, and he is sound in coverage. And he has been doing this consistently all year even during our downs.

Agreed on both accounts. JJ3 has played much better recently. The Browns seem to be utilizing him more properly in addition to him getting more used to playing deep when asked to.

So why did this happen? Did he ask for this?

Unless he asked for it... I don't like the trade at all. I thought Hill was fantastic for us.

I was surprised by this. He doesn't make that much money. He does turn 31 in August, though.

Hoping we get to learn more about why this happened.

Hill was great against the run and great as a blitzer, but really bad in coverage per PFF.

I think the Browns just saw an opportunity to grab a 2023 pick for an older player they were only going to get maybe 400-500 more snaps out of and pulled the trigger.

New CB depth chart probably looks like this...

LCB: Ward -> Emerson
SLOT: Newsome -> Emerson
RCB: Greedy -> Green

Newsome would be in Greedy's place when they have just two corners on the field.
