According to Greg Toal, Rose's defensive line coach for the All-American game, Rose has been impressive in practice this week.

“Rose has a quick step; he’s extremely strong," Toal said. "I mean scary strong. He’s going to be very good at the next level. I really want everyone to understand what kind of player Robert Rose is. He has scary strength, Michael Strahan-type strength."

Rose selected Ohio State over USC. Rose visited Ohio State on 12/3. He had as many as 17 sacks during his senior season. He continues the pipeline of Glenville players to Ohio State, which also includes Donte Whitner, Ted Ginn, Jamario O'Neal, Troy Smith, and Curtis Terry.

Rose said the OSU-Glenville connection played a difference in his decision.

"I want to go where family is, so I feel right at home at Ohio State," he said.
Ted Ginn Sr is the man!

I've been watching the game today, and he's been unblockable for most of the game. Chris Wells is also looking sweet, with 2 scores and 60 yards on 9 carries. We still have a quarter and a half to go...

Ted Ginn Sr, head coach of the East, led his team to a 27 - 16 victory. Chris Wells ended the game with 3 TDs and the MVP trophy.

Im still not impressed with Wells. He has been labled as lazy and a person that will give up.

He played in a very very very very weak conference and his stats aren't even eye popping.

His stature is, he is huge. He certainly has the ability to be a big time back, but whether or not he has the heart...thats what we will find out.

We need to start giving some money to Ginn Sr dude is like our own personal assistant recruiter :D If Rose stays all 4 years at OSU his final big non bowl game will be against USC

The announcers were all like "Wells will be starting next year for Jim Tressel, no question." I don't believe that. Sure, it would be great if he comes in and knocks everyone's socks off, is just that much better demanding the starting role through his play, like a Mo C, but I seriously doubt it. Pittman is an NFL caliber back. Chris Wells might beat out Mo Wells for the #2 job, but I'd be shocked to see him start over Pit.

Wells did look stout today however, and it was against the best possible high school competition. It was just an all star game, but that one td he carried three guys for 5 yards to get to the end zone. On a few other plays he showed his speed at getting to the corner. He appears to have all the tools.

Ginn Sr is seriously the man. There was talk of getting him an assistant job at OSU. FUCK THAT! He's much more valuable to us at Glenville where he brain washes, err, I mean, he presents Ohio State in a favorable manner to all his players. :D
