Just got an offer to recieve Ryan Matthews for Austin Collie. Normally I would probably do it in a hurry but with his injuries I am not so sure I want him. Anyways here are my WR/RB (Start 2 RB and 3 WR) in a standard league.

RB:
Frank Gore
Darren McFadden
Brandon Jackson
Reggie Bush

WR:
Randy Moss
Santana Moss
Ochocinco
Austin Collie
Braylon Edwards.

Might sound crazy, I wouldn't. You might be able to get more or a better rb.

I have concerns about Matthews. Rookie and most of all SD is a pass first team.

No from me. San Diego and Oakland have byes in week 10, so Mathews won't even cover for McFadden. That said, I'd still be looking for a guy at RB, at least until Reggie Bush is healthy. Brandon Jackson isn't exciting, with the Packers focusing on the passing game, Kuhn to split carries, and the possibility that Green Bay makes a trade down the line. The Bears do have a nice run defense, but he looked awful tonight.

I don't expect Collie to keep putting up weeks like this one, but he has consistent value based solely on how much Manning trusts him. You have three other WRs who are starters most weeks, but I have a hunch Collie will outproduce at least one of them over the remainder of the season. For example, Ochocinco needs a semi-reliable Carson Palmer to put up numbers, and that might be an issue...

It would also be useful to know whether you have open roster spots/unproductive guys vs. the talent available on waivers...

I would say no also. I am just not too sure on Mathews like most people. I think Collie is a real keeper. Peyton has trust in him and I really think Collie has overtaken Pierre Garçon (because of his drops). Collie seems sure handed and up Peyton's ass.

Stick with Collie.

Declined the trade. Still looking to move Collie for a legit RB. Just don't see McFadden being a solid #2 for me down the stretch.
