Feel like it's going to end up being stefanski as HC. No idea what that means for Freddie though

Only Haslam could come in and snatch defeat from the claws of victory. WTF? Why the heck would he just not let Dorsey run the process and recommend the coach and then accept said coach. We are going to end up with Stefanski and Childress and Kitchens will be out the door. All the while pissing Dorsey and Mayfield off. Perfect!

How do you know ANY of this?

I agree, it doesn't seem like a coincidence that Childress resigned, however...

The reports stemming from it and all other reports (PFT) seem like they're guessing at what Dorsey is thinking.

MKC asking if Childress COULD be on his way to Cleveland and PFT saying there "MAY" be in-fighting in the Browns FO just seems like speculation.

Now, I'm not saying Childress isn't on his way here, he very well may be.. I'm just saying this whole process seems like it has the media speculating more than anything at this point.

And if he does come, I'd tend to believe what others have already stated, that it's more of an "advisory" role moreso than play-caller or OC..

Well... by researching a variety of sights, reading some insider info and reading the tea leaves. It is clear there is some opposite opinions occurring with the search committee and that Haslam is the final decisioner, listening to several people. Just putting 2 and 2 together. That's all.

If the Browns are going to hire a young guy who was just recently a position coach to be HC (either Kitchens or Stefanski), that's a lot of additional responsibility. Maybe a guy like Childress as sort of an MLB-style bench coach wouldn't be terrible, especially on game days.
