Because last I checked the.... us Browns fans..... weren’t allowed.... to have nice things?

That'll be the day before the Super Bowl

Still a little worried about our cap situation with a potential Thomas signing.

While Dorsey is great at acquiring talent in crafty ways, my buddy (KC diehard) laments that he isn't as well-versed in working out contract flexibility for the future. We have a lot of young studs that will be asking for some big $$ the next few years.

That's why Depo is around. Fret not. We have a window the next few years with a FQB on a rookie contract. Time to go for it.

Most of the guys on the roster won't be here or can easily be cut with big cap savings by 2021. It's only the cap rollover that will be missed.

Thomas can slide over to strong safety?
He played it quite a bit in 2014. My guess is they can use both he and Randall. Alternatively, they move Randall back to CB, and find another strong safety.

In reality, they probably would do some combination of both to disguise coverage, which is Wilks’ thing.

Randall was so good after the S switch that I'd rather take another corner.
