Dude cannot stay healthy. Just draft a safety and let him and Kindred compete.
He had cancer asshole.

That was like 5 years ago. The last couple seasons he's seen slightly more playing time than 3rd round pick Chad Thomas. He had cancer asshole.
FYI: I think he was referring to Berry post-2017.He had cancer asshole.

I had the exact same cancer Berry had and as the RCF authority on cancer jokes, I say - let 'em fly!He had cancer asshole.
I had cancer and had one of my kidneys removed. Let the jokes continue.
I second this.I am not convinced Kindred isn't better than over half the potential safeties out there. Main reason Peppers didn't get to the pro bowl is we had Kindred on our roster so he played almost 40% of the snaps.
Draft one for depth, use the money we would use for safety to improve the real position of need, OLB. I think Kindred helped make Peppers expendable much like Corbett made Ziettler expendable. Sure Ziettler is better than Corbett, especially at this point, just like Peppers is better than Kindred, but strong safety we legitimately had 2 people good enough to start.
We should stop the safety safari and start "What the fuck else does Dorsey have up his sleeve?" safari.
Just looking at some free agent lists and KJ Wright is out there from Seattle. The big reason Peppers is a loss is not because of his skills as a box safety. The idea of box safety is basically disappearing. What made Peppers so valuable is his ability to play in coverage or in the box. Offenses did not know what his role would be, and pre-snap, it made them treat Peppers' area of the field more conservatively.
I do not think the Browns need to worry about finding a true box safety. They truly need an OLB. If they can find a starting playoff-caliber OLB, then I think they can get away with Kindred+depth at the other safety spot.
He is very good in coverage. I think he'd really help us defend those short-to-intermediate passes. How expensive, though?Just looking at some free agent lists and KJ Wright is out there from Seattle.
