what the hell can they do that I thought you could only do a MLE is you were over the cap. I thought they were getting Marbury??

well maybe hes friends with drobpnak or however u spell his name,lol.i dunno thats what i was thinking...new to the nba the money will open eyes.
 
I'd heard that Sauronus (sp) didn't play any defense anyway. You guys are probably lucky to not waste 5mil on a 30 year old pg. You have to question the mentality of anyone that will sign with Atlanta. Cleveland may as well go and get Mighty Mouse since he'll at least give you the perimeter threat that your're looking for. What happened to Antonio Daniels? Don't you guys have enough dough to go and get him?

I think we are close to 7 mil left to spend. AD would be probably close to that figure, seeing that he is a very coveted PG this offseason. There is a half dozen teams out there that will offer him that amount too.

If we sign him, we wouldn't be able to get our backup big man.
 
It would just mean they offered him the equivalent to the MLE. They don't actually have an MLE, but only a couple of teams can go over the MLE, so they wouldn't have to go over to offer him the most other teams can match (assuming we are down to the MLE ourselves).

I couldn't get one of the links to work and the other link didn't have anything to say about Jasikevicius.
 
umm has anybody actually seen where it stated this to be the case ?

i like antonio.. but we have a perimeter defender in hughes, we need scoring- so mouse it is..

but i like antonio-- so lets go get him (he can get 13 a night)

i don't know... i don't think he will sign with the hawks...

i thought his agent said he didn't want to play for a losing team ?
 
pippen yes u pointed out what i said in the other thread.hughes can hit the 3 but only when hes hot.we got the perimeter defender in hughes and thats what AD is.AD is more of a mid range...i like mighty mouse right now.
 
before we get too excited, can someone post a link that actually works or some other source anywhere on the net that's not this thread?
