Christopher Reina/RealGM - With the added cap space from the Bonzi Wells three-way trade, reports are beginning to come in that Utah is on the verge of agreeing to terms with Sarunas Jasikevicius of Maccabi Tel Aviv. This conflicts with earlier reports that an agreement had been made between Jasikevicius and the Cavaliers.

“Utah’s offer is on the table right now and we’re still waiting on a decision from Sarunas," said his agent Doug Neustadt in an interview on Friday evening with DraftExpress.com's Jonathan Givony.

"He has three offers from the Jazz, Pacers and Cavaliers. They are all three-year deals above the $10 million being reported.”

why would he want to go to utah?

Utah is the smallest market in the nba with the spurs.

If theres 3 similar offers on the table, I don't see how Saraunas doesnt come to Cleveland. Utah should be a good team, but they suffer from bad karma issues and can't be good. Indy is a pretty good team thats an attractive offer, but Tinsley will definately take up most of that PT. The Cavs have had their best FA season in history (perhaps the only good FA period in history, but still), the guy's Lithuanian best friend plays in and likes Cleveland, I dont see how he'd go elsewhere. Maybe Saraunas's agent is getting as much money as posible, but I don't think we've offered anything short of all the reamining cap space

If I was Saras I would choose Cleveland if all offers are about the same. He gets to play with two friends Z and AV and another lithuaninan Marty. And cleveland supposedly has a pretty big lithuanian community. Plus the opportunity to start for a good team and have half of his games on national TV.

Let it be known Sarunas that I will continue to be bad Karma to any key free agent who chooses another team over Cleveland. You only have to look as far as Carlos Boozer to see hold I have.

Anyways, Utah are building towards something that seems to be a few years away. They have a decent nucleus, but it isn't ready to contend. Indiana are at the level where someone like Sarunas can give them that special lift that Reggie did. They are a real danger to us, and I can see them sitting Tinsley or trading him if Sarunas becomes the real deal.

If he goes then good I'll love to see him playing for a perennial 20 win team, Cleveland has the $ he asked for, if he wanted more then that he shouldnt have said that he wants that leaving us helpless since we left him enough of what we wanted. Oh well if he doesnt come here lets get someone else damon earl other players..

Wow I hate the Jazz, and if Sarunas goes there you can bet I'm not gonna be one of his bigger fans. IF he does end up signing with Utah, let's hope we can still get Jaric in a sign and trade or something. Ughhhh, cmon Sarunas, make the right move!

Don't beg for him, if he comes here good if not then screw him he Boozer and O'Connor can all go to hell. It's that simple getting Damon Jones Damon Stoudemire or a sign and trade for Terry all works for me.
