Series 11 - Los Angeles Angels vs. Cleveland Indians - May 6, 7, 8

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What a disheartening loss.

luckiest team ever. obviously the indians are no.1 on the list of favorite teams for me but "whomever is playing the angels" is now no.2

Why are we still employing Kearns? I know he had a fluke hot start last year, but sucked the rest of the way. He is sucking still. We don't have a guy in AAA that can slug .200 and misplay balls in the outfield?

Congratulations Los Angeles, you barely took 2 out of 3 from us with your fucking stupid lucky ass mile-high choppers and fluke infield hits. So glad to get out of LA. I always HATE playing there, but this year was like my own personal Hell. Damn, get us back home.

I blame acta on this loss. Why would you put Kearns, and Everette in the same game?

This one really hurt. I haven't felt this bad about a loss before today. It also has to do with Carmona being pretty much lights out with nothing to show for it but a loss.

Everett? Sorry. You suck.
Kearns? Sorry. You suck.

Acta? Get a clue please. What the hell is wrong with some of our prospects? It doesn't have to be players who need to play. Hell, don't we have utility guys down there who could be better off the bench? I've got to believe that's true.

Today was a case of the bench totally losing this game. Thanks champs.

BTW Manny. It's our last inning. The game is on the line. Choo is up and got totally screwed by the ump. Why the fuck aren't you in the ump's face standing up for Choo? You know damn well the ump should have asked for help without thinking about it. He didn't. You didn't do a damn thing. In that situation it's up to you to show you are pissed off and won't take the abuse. Why not get thrown out right there? You blew it.

This series has made me hate baseball. What a display of completely lucky bullshit. Even the 1st game where we only had 3 hits, we drilled about 5-6 balls right at guys, a few of them even to the warning track. Yet the Angels come up and hit the ball 40 feet and reach base.

To AmherstCavsfan and anyone else that doesn't care when a guy strikes out..... How the fuck could you have watched that series and not agree with me now? It seems like you have a better chance of getting on base when you hit a blooper or weak grounder than you do when you hit a line drive shot 300 feet. If the Angels struck out every time they hit a weak infield single or blooper, they might not have scored all series.

Fuck the Angels. They have me really pissed off. Do we have to play this team again? If we do, remind me to break my TV before that series begins.

Because getting thrown out doesn't change the outcome of the game or do a damn thing but lighten your wallet.. The ump will see his mistake when he reviews his performance for today's game.

No, but your players would love you for it. I can't remember one time Acta was pissed off at a call. He's never been thrown out either. It's nice he keeps his temper, but certain times call for certain things. That was one time when it was clear his player, Choo, was upset about the call, and rightfully so. Acta should have shown some stones. He didn't. And how do you know it doesn't change the outcome of the game? That's like others stating a strikeout is just another damn out. This game clearly showed that putting the ball in play will get you everything, including two fucking wins to win a fucking series you did NOT deserve to win.

11 infield hits in the series by the StinkGels. ELEVEN.

Not sure which game you watched or if you even watched it, but the offense was there and timely today. If you score 5 runs, and your starter goes seven and gives up 0 earned, you should win 1000 times out of 999.

They've scored 3, 5, 4, 1, 4, 1, 4 and 5 runs over their last 8 games. I'd call that "not scoring runs anymore," given that they'd put up 9,8,7,9 just before that stretch.

You guys are funny. The optmism is cute and much appreciated. But it's just gonna make this upcoming 3-17 streak even harder for you.

Look...I'm just calling it like I see it. And I'm never wrong.

The As and Angels have the top two staffs in the AL so it comes as no surprise that runs were hard to come by this week.

That's no excuse for today though. Five runs was more than enough for Fausto. He didn't allow any runs. Scoring wasn't the problem today. Defense was, and the fact of sad lucky infield hits.

Be happy our defense has been as good as it has been. Like I said, this is the only game I can remember our D costing us the outcome.

I can't stand Bruce Drennan today. You can't defend this team today.

The good news is that only Detroit and Chicago won today in the Central, so we maintain our 4.5 game lead in the division.
