Series #16 Indians Vs Oakland

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Bauer is making me look up the wild card standings now.

3 doubles already for Mercado. His swing is a thing of beauty. Lindor's bat needs to be pushed down while Mercado gets more ABs in the leadoff spot.

Kipnis has reached base each of the past sixteen games. He's not anywhere close to the player he was two years ago, and he can be frustrating, but at least he gives us some offense.

Even when they aren't hitting, he and Jose have great approaches at the plate and draw a lot of walks.

That was my favorite thing about our 2016 offense--how many pitches we saw per at bat.

Seems like the Indians are going to hover around .500 all season...win a few...lose a few...I think the question becomes if this continues are we sellers at the trade deadline?

How fucking bad are the Orioles? That's what I take from this series so far.

3 runs is pretty impressive

People gonna start calling this team like it is?

Barely above .500, we could find ourselves 6.5 back while on a 11 game homestand. This offense is trash. Lindor leading off with solo homers isn't helping either, maybe if he was batting 3rd or something. June hasn't kicked in but at the same time nobody thought Minnesota would be 31-16. We're gonna win 60, lose 60, but what are we gonna do with the rest?

Clev pretty close to back, Bieber's been awesome, we need a bat. Gotta think we can get something for Bauer. Question is how far we're back from twinkies at the deadline, or if we can even wait that long.

I don't think anyone in here is giving the team the benefit of the doubt like the last 2 years, which I think they deserved because those 2 teams were very good despite early exits (especially 2017).

Without something drastic happening, I really do not see us catching the Twins. They're playing really, really good baseball and the Indians are putzing around .500
